Expected better. Restaurant is really nice inside, clean and welcoming. Service was fast and friendly. However the food falls short. If you’re going to charge higher end dinner prices your food needs to live up to it. I ordered the Prosciutto wrapped chicken which was very dry and over cooked. However did taste good. Upgraded to the mashed potatoes as my side which was an additional 2 dollars. Why do I have to pay even more for mash? They were very good tasting but ice cold. My wife had the Mahi Mahi which was supposed to be coated in coconut but the coconut was severely lacking. Her fish was severely undercooked in the middle and she could only eat the outside. Not ones to make a scene we ate what we could and left disappointed. As some one just traveling through the area and not a local our expectations were way higher for the reviews we read and the prices charged. Overall the flavors were good but nothing special. Under cooked fish and over cooked chicken and up charges for basic sides mean I can’t recommend coming here. Worst restaurant we have experienced in our week long trip to Ohio.

If you're out this way, maybe winery-hopping, and want a place worth trying, you found it. It had been a few months since I had been to Flagship. No reason why. When I go by on the weekend, it's packed. I was working, needed a good meal....why not? Reviewed the menu before I left the house, and knew it was going to be the Spicy Calabrian Shrimp and Wagyu Meatballs. Did not disappoint. Wow. Meatballs were perfect, not sure how I would otherwise describe them. The sauce was the perfect topper. No frills, just plain delish. And the Shrimp, an exquisite spicy warm bite with a sensational taste. Tender, hot......oh yeah. Glad I snapped a photo before I finished. And the IPA I had was also very tasty. Not too hoppy at all. Smooth. I remember the brewery was in Indiana, but cant remember the name. On the taps, it's the second one from the right as you look at them. Cool handle. Gals working there, super-friendly, engaging, willing to help. If you're still on the fence, just do it.

Good place to eat and highly recommend, it's nice to see more above average cuisine in the Madison village cropping up. Honestly it was pretty good all things considered. The fryer was broken that night so I can't really vouch for anything on their fried food menu but the burgers were perfectly medium and the sides of garlic mashed potatoes and Caesar salad were pretty good. Their large Bavarian pretzel was pretty spectacular when it was brought out and the sauces for that were good. Honestly the biggest thing to give the flagship restaurant props for is just how much of a gargantuan renovation it went through and the place looks spectacular now. The previous bar that used to be here and looked extremely sketchy and now looks extremely aesthetically modern for a nice sit-down restaurant.

We stopped in for dinner while staying in the area for travel. It was relatively close to our hotel, and the menu looked good, so we went there.

It was a bit low key on the outside. Not unlike a garage. It sort of reminds me of a VFW, and very well could have been - no judgement there. Just didn't look like a restaurant.

There was plenty of parking in the lot out back, so that was a plus.

The server seemed busy, and it was a hot day, so she may have been tired. It took her a bit to get warmed up to us, but she eventually did, and was very nice.

The food was the drawback, here. Most of what we ordered was not available. So we had to take extra time to look at the menu again (we had already looked at it online before going, and it was the reason we chose that place).

We got the appetizer of the Spicy Calabrian Shrimp. The shrimp were tough and chewy, and the Calabrian chili sauce was watery and didn't stick to the shrimp. But it didn't taste bad, so we ate it.

My dinner was the Cheese Crusted Chicken, which also tasted good. It would have been a little bit better if the cheese "sauce" had been prepared more. The shreds of Parmesan were still whole, and not melted into it. But again, it didn't taste bad. The rice pilaf was done well.

My son got the Pasta Primavera, which was also watery for some reason. The pasta looked naked, but the vegetable medley was there, so it wasn't completely plain. I ended up giving him some of my chicken, to add something to the dish.

My husband got the Prosciutto Cordon Bleu, and he said he liked it a lot. It did look good, but I didn't taste it.

Our drinks were strong, so that was a big plus.

By the end of our meal, we were ready to go sleep in the hotel, and the server was kind to have a conversation with us about our travels.

All things considered, I probably wouldn't eat there again, but for casual dining for residents in town, it's...

We first looked up this restaurant online and the pictures looked amazing so off we went. When we arrived we were confused because the outside doesn’t match the crafty food pictures but once you walk in the place is done up well. Clean and plenty of seating. We ordered drinks the pineapple Paloma ( which was not good but not their fault. It’s just too much acidic fruit with tequila) and the spicy mango mule (not bad). We ordered our appetizers and dinner which were the meatballs and margarita flat bread and the lobster Campanelli and the chicken cordon blue. Took quite a while to get the appetizers but they came out looking like the picture. The meatballs are spicy! Very good but 🥵. The flat bread was good as well. Our main dishes came out before we even finished our appetizers and were not slow eaters. We ordered 2 more drinks this time my husband ordered a mango margarita with double tequila ( they don’t carry and high end tequila surprising for a craft cocktail bar so it was average ) his chicken cordon Blu was great he said. My lobster Campanelli left much to be desired. The angel hair pasta was over cooked and the small bits of lobster were mushy as well leaving no distinction in texture between the pasta and the lobster with the use of too much red pepper. I was unimpressed for the price but if these dishes were priced for the quality of the food I’d be satisfied. We’ll definitely go back (probably not order drinks) and try some other dishes. Looking forward to the pork chops and trying...

Staying the weekend at a B&B in Madison celebrating our 39th wedding anniversary dinner husband googled restaurants in area this one stated 4.5 stars. Pulled in no one else in parking lot and no other customers in the restaurant first red flag should of left @ that point. Waitress was friendly but her hair was very long and should of been pulled back and out of the way from serving food, she seemed hurried and short with her answers. The food was extremely over priced especially for the appearance of the establishment and location. I ordered the chicken breast dinner with a supposedly cream sauce, cheese, panto bread crumbs and a rice pilaf. My husband ordered the shrimp & scallop Alfredo over a pasta, salads were very small finely chopped and an overwhelming taste of onions, our iced teas were not refilled. When my dinner came out it was a chicken breast cut in half grilled marks and topped with a slice of provolone and panko bread crumbs and the rice pilaf was sticky and dry. My husband's meal tasted overly fishy and the shrimp and scallops were tuff and the Alfredo sauce was runny, it looked like they opened a jar of Alfredo sauce and used that. Very disappointed in this establishment and even more so our anniversary dinner. I also took pictures of our meals and no where on here am I able to post them. Save your $ and go to the bar across the street there parking...
