Parisian Style Beauty Supply and Salon LLC — Local services in Malden

Don't ever ever come here. Ever! Please do not put any money into this shop. We have to get them out of our community as soon as possible. I have been there several times over the last few years and the shop owner has grown increasingly aggressive, disrespectful and at this juncture down right delusional. There is a sign that tells potential customers the shop is open and a bell to ring to be let in. Today, my husband walked over and saw 2 people in the shop, one being the shop owner. He rang the bell looking to just purchase beads. The shop owner immediately walked over to the door and turned the sign to closed in his face. He asked through the glass if they were open or not and let her know that he was only looking to buy beads. She (the owner) began banging on the glass window from inside the shop screaming at him to" leave , get away, no!!" She then threatened to call the police. My husband left and I walked over with him thinking maybe she being a woman wasn't comfortable with having a man in her store. When I got there she still refused us both service although she knows me by mely first name. She then yelled through the glass to me that my husband (who has never been in her shop or has ever seen this woman before) is suspicious and if he needs beads I have to come alone. I will never be back there, I wouldn't put a penny into her business ever again. This is NOT hoW any business owner should treat anyone coming to spend their hard earned money, let alone the people in the community that puts money in your shop. We keep her business afloat and that needs to stop. Push this crazy lady out of our community because she isn't a good person. I'm from boston where there is no shortage of beauty supplies but I have relocated to malden and was looking for a closer beauty supply so my sister brought me to this one about a month ago. When we entered the store we were not greeted and the only employee there spent almost the entire time we were in the store on the phone. Many products did not have prices on them and we had to ask the employee the prices on certain items. I'm looking at these other reviews and the response from the owner which is more on the defensive side instead of apologetic. This is A BUSINESS . I'm all for supporting black businesses but NOT when I am treated poorly. I understand this may be a cultural issue to not greet customers since the owners appear to be of african or haitian descent but that adjustment needs to be made on their part since they're running a business in the US, where I feel our cultural traditions when it comes to professionalism should prevail, and customer service is key. I went to this place two times…. I was very comfortable the first time and the second time was just terrible. You walk into the store and it’s all positive, God worshipped everywhere… but they are so negative and rude. They talked negatively about me the whole time in creole…. The owner would ask me questions in English and would add “sweetheart” or “beautiful girl” to make everything seem enlightened then she would talk SUPER negative (in creole) to the people who work for her. They thought I couldn’t understand them. LOL…I sat there in peace and let them finish my hair. I struggle with mental illness and they sat there and talked about how weird and disgusted they were with my disorder. Don’t talk about someone because you NEVER know what they are going through. I acted totally normal but I really wanted to walk out the store and cry. I could say I’m never gonna go back there again. I deleted and blocked her number from my phone. Karma will get them!! Also prices are everywhere….very disorganized…. If you have money…. They will charge more…. Very very unprofessional. I do not recommend this place especially if you...
