This grocery store is located very close to the beach . There are a few houses in between but its just a short walk from the beach . Its a high end grocery store full of healthy fresh organic produce and fancy food that is prepared right there in the store . there is a good selection of beverages both alcoholic and non alcoholic like soft drinks and juices . The bathroom is all the way in the back and there was a line to get into the women's restroom but it was clean and it was open to the public which was a relief no punn intended . I didnt have my mask and employees were very nice when I politely asked for a complimentary one . Many places won't give you a mask but these guys were very nice about it . My date and I picked out our drinks and we shared a crissant . There were many fancy carbonated drinks that I had never tried before . I always like to try new things so the selection thrilled me . after we purchased out snack and drinks we sat on a bench by the grassy area in front of Christys and ppl watched . It was semi busy and there was many in line waiting. We were glad we didnt have to deal with that because it looked like the line was moving very slow . Overall I would say this is a nice plaza to get your refreshments or lunch on a beach day but expect to spend more than usual as its a higher end market .The good thing is that Everything is fresh and wholesome which is good for...

There’s no excuse for these prices. Quality ingredients, shortages, whatever. There’s absolutely no excuse. People need to eat. You know they throw all that food away each night too. They would rather waste than charge appropriately in order to feed people. It’s not cute it’s not funny or trendy or something that nobody has “control” over. They are charging these prices because they can and that’s greed. Until people start putting their money where their mouth is & stop complaining while Simultaneously swiping the card, we will sit here and allow these companies to rip us off. Stop supporting that. People with disposable income ruin this for everyone because although they may agree that food is overpriced by nearly 65%, they will pay out of impatience, convenience and just because they can afford to be ripped off and don’t have time to “battle” or take the time to seek out better options. If you care about your community you will be more selective with your dollar and you will do your dudiligence to know where your $ goes beyond the means to an end in the immediate transaction. This applies to everyone despite your tax bracket or your financial...
Read moreThe Malibu Brewing company is located in Trancas Market square on PCH a couple of miles north of Zuma Beach. This was our first visit, seeking good food, beer and cooler weather since it was 100*F in the SF valley. Parking is a little tricky, this market square is popular! We went inside and put in our name for a 30min wait but were seated in less. It's a slightly upscale micro-brew house with a great menu. Prices are on par for Malibu, roughly $25-30 per person. They have pub fare (burgers, pizzas, salads, etc) but also have upscale dishes like skirt steak and braised short ribs. I had the MBC smash burger. It was a double burger with cheddar, beer braised onions, shredded lettuce and garlic pickles with home made potato chips. It was delicious and fresh. I paired it with their happy days blonde beer, which I highly recommend... It's dangerous 👍. My wife has the roasted hatch chili flat bread pizza, with was also delicious. If you decide to try, definitely opt for outside seating, it's much less noisy and you get a great view of the grassy square it is...
