Horrible experience. Body shame much? Brought my daughter here for prom shopping. We were early for our appt but were given permission to browse all the 00’s out for sale. Largest size we found on the floor was a 4. When asked if there were larger dresses available to try on, the saleswoman informed my daughter that she could look in downstairs in the MOM section because she “actually” sells 4-5 dresses a season for girls like her?!! How rude! Proud of my daughter for speaking up and saying “that wouldn’t be necessary”. At that point the saleswoman directed my daughter to the back room “bathroom” to look at a dozen or so size 8, 10, 12 and 14 size dresses. Why are they kept in the back? We stayed 15 minutes and immediately left. If you would like your teenage daughter to experience this kind of treatment, in what is probably a stressful shopping trip for them to begin with, by all means shop here. If you would like to support a small business with great service, selection, size ranges and style, drive on over to Bedazzled Boutique in Newtown Square. My wife took our daughter to this boutique for her senior prom dress. She said the sales woman was great to work with. When my wife and daughter went for my daughter’s first fitting at the seamstress (not affiliated with this boutique) they saw there was a loop missing on the back of the dress, which explains why it was laced differently than the manufacturer’s website had it shown. Had it been laced properly, it would have been very obvious to the person trying it on as it would not have been aligned properly or been able to be tied. It is also visibly dirty inside. Also, upon closer inspection of the earrings we purchased, we found seven total rhinestones missing. Three were in the box and the others were not, which means they were sold to us with missing rhinestones. So, we have to pay extra to have the seamstress put a loop on the dress and we need to buy new earrings. I am not one to write reviews, but I felt it necessary in this case. It is disappointing to me that a dress boutique of this caliber would actually sell damaged merchandise. I would expect this at a large store, but not here. Please inspect everything very carefully...

Occasions Boutique has a large assortment of beautifully crafted, quality dresses. Regardless of your age, size, style, or type of event you are destined to find the perfect dress. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful which makes the shopping experience a delight, which is so refreshing because at the wrong store, dress shopping can become stressful. I am also incredibly fond of Occasions Boutique’s generosity. High School girls from a local high school were gifted dresses, 100% free of charge, from Occasions Boutique. Due to the large number of donations received from this store, the dress outreach was able to extend to two additional schools. These girls would not have been able to afford a prom gown and partake in one of the most special nights for a High School student if it had not been for Occasions Boutique unwavering passion to serve their community.
