In sum, the worst bar/restaurant service I have ever experienced. I have never felt so disrespected at an establishment. I will never be back.

My friends and I went here for the first time and were pleased with the atmosphere. At the end of the night our waitress gave us our check. Our one friend went to pay the bill, he left a $60 on a $56 dollar bill, and said keep the change, because our other friend was covering the rest of the tip. Our waitress replied "let's be real here you're only giving me 4 dollars on a 60 dollar tip?" He then said that there was more to come but to just take that in the meantime. He turned to tell us what she said and the waitress came back saying "what were you saying about me?"

My friend said "nothing" and then we sat in shock over a waitress complaining and combating someone about their tip.

When she came back, she slammed the change down on the table and said "you have a great 'effing night, you piece of s*". Wow. My friend then went to the manager and explained what had happened. The waitress then got into my friends face and told him to "eff off, you effing piece of s*". He then told the manager again what had been said. Her response "eff you, you piece of s*"

Wow. I am in disbelief. I have never, in my life could imagine someone treating another human being like that. That was, without a doubt, the worst restaurant/bar...

Dive bar with middling service. Sometimes, it has a friendly/townie vibe. Sometimes, the bartenders are AWOL -- or worse, rude. I witnessed a bartender named Bethany literally perform a song and dance routine mocking a customer, to their face, calling them a "See You Next Tuesday." It wasn't an inside joke, just spontaneous anger and rudeness.

The other reviews and I see I'm not the first one to witness rudeness by Bethany, nor the first to see unpredictable closing times -- sometimes 2 or more hours earlier than the listed time. If a place wants to set an early closing time, fair enough. But when it contradicts the hours customers are told -- IN WRITING -- and the employees are cold and rude about it, it's disrespectful. The vibe you get is that the bar is a side hustle to all the employees.

Be careful with your drinks if you sit at the bar. The bartop is some disgusting sheet metal, and completely uneven, so you'll get a lot of spillage. plus they leave dirty glasses lined up in front of the customers and the splashing as they wash...

This was my first experience visiting the Flying Pig saloon. It is on a downtown Main Street in the community, it is walkable, and surrounded by a variety of shops, restaurants, and other fascinating institutions. The waitress and bartender we're very attentive, paying close to mind to me when I was in for lunch. The quality of food was very good, pricing is about average for a restaurant, and in that sense I was satisfied with the food, service, and drink I received.

The atmosphere of the bar however this dark, dated, and cavernous. My first impressions as I was the only Patron was that this was the definition of an old man's bar. As more patrons came in I began to realize The Flying Pig has a dedicated local patronage of regulars, everybody seem to know everyone. Well I have no problems with this, and maybe it was the time of day I visited, this didn't strike me as a location we're out of town Travelers and tourists would...

It is called The Flying Pig, Pig decorations everywhere, pulled pork and specialty sandwiches are prominently displayed in the menu. The cheesesteak was one line in the menu. So I asked the bartender if the kitchen minded substitutions to the sandwiches. She said they did not mind substitutions. I said great then can I get the grilled cheese specialty sandwich but substitute Cheesesteak meat for the ham. She said NO. So I got the cheesesteak. I thought it was standard at best. Dan thought it was salty. The cheese liquefied, settled on the bottom of the sandwich and made the cheese steak stick to the plate. Something happened because after we ate our Cheesesteak the bartender brought me a quarter of what she called their best selling sandwich. Why a quarter? Where is the other three quarters of the sandwich? If anyone sees three-quarters of the Flying Pig’s best-selling sandwich wandering around Malvern please notify me.

Waitress was great and food was good, cute little spot. Parking is tight though. Edit: beware going with a large group even if you call ahead a few hours before and get the ok from the staff, manager can get rude and unapproachable. Hes the tall skinny older man with a bit of a attitude, sat on a computer at a table half the time on a friday night yet heckled our group for taking up a table on "you know its friday right". Had to state to him we did call and you said it would be fine, we gave the option of us going elsewhere if it wasnt do able and they said no dont worry about it..it honestly made all of us agree to not go back and we told everyone at work about it since the man made us so uncomfortable (it was a work happy hour for full disclosure and it was only 15 of us who could go, and why we called for, and said would be coming at the time we stated)

We came here to grab a drink and grab a bite to eat. We tried a few appetizers: the spicy cheese fries, the potstickers, and the jalepeño poppers. I think the fries were my favorite (I combined the spicy fries and the cheese fries on the menu). It's a pretty neat bar. I loved the decor — there are flying pigs everywhere. There's a large drink selection. Plenty of beer options, but others as well (like cider). This is a good place to grab a drink, but I'd probably go elsewhere for food. It seemed like pretty standard bar food. We would have stayed longer, but it was a nice day and we wanted to go somewhere that we could sit outside.
