It was very unfortunate of the customer service I received from here, I like to support small businesses and opted for buying a new product from homedepot and came here to buy a used washer. I was not looking for top of the line, just a machine that would work. I bought a washer, paid for installation and haul. The washer I received did not work. Went in the very same day to let them know it was not working, the owner said impossible! He said they check and verify they work. I asked for a refund OR for someone to come back to look at it. He said his techs had left for the day (was strange because I saw some employees go to the back), then said there would be a charge of 100 for the washer to be pick up if I didn't want it. He insisted that the washer worked and said that something didnt seem right and I that I was lying. I insisted for a refund, because at that point I no longer wanted to keep it and I didnt want to pay any more for a washer that didnt work. He became very irate. He went to the back of the store, came back, and told me to go home he was sending someone. As I walked out, I saw the same guys I saw before come out. They came to test the washer and it wasn't working. I returned to the store this time with my son, owner changed his whole attitude and said he apologized for the situation and would refund me the whole amount I paid. His customer service was horrendous.

Reply to the owner- This is my experience at your store, I came into your store this year doesn't matter when. I have review 26 places with top ratings except 4 of them and those are my honest opinions and experiences. 8 months later I see you still do not understand that your disrespect was uncalled for. I came in an hour before closing, I said the washer machine you just sold me is not working- first words that came out of your mouth is impossible. Not "let me see if I can have someone come out to see it", you insisted that was not true. I told you I had no reason to lie because I would not get anything from running around wasting my time making up lies and for it to turn out that the washer worked. Anyone would be upset if they were being called a liar. At one point you gave in to having someone come see the washer, you said they only come tomorrow in the morning. I told you I worked the next day and could not, you said well get your son who was there today to be there, you talked down to me and were very dismissive. My son came with me the 3rd time, because he saw how upset I was. I will say your staff was very professional they saw it was not working, they understood why I was upset and they tried to even return the generous tip my son gave them when they initially dropped off the washer and told them they earned it, it wasn't their fault. When we returned to get our refund- we didn't say a word, I wanted all to be over and get home. You with held the receipt and said " I just want to say one more thing I just want to apologize" I just wanted to leave- I snatch my receipt from your hand got up and said apologize to my son for having him come out here to listen to your excuses, there was no blackmailing. I gave you one star for the wonderful employees you have. I hope you learn not to be dismissive, pushy and rude to customers that come back with honest concern about the products...

I want the public to know that I would definitely recommend Appliance Center to anyone and I am definitely coming back to this place again if I ever need any other appliances. They have refurbished appliances but they also have new appliances and they all come with a warranty. My dryer came with a 45 day warranty and I didn't want to write a review until I had it for at least a couple of months. My experience here was great. I called before arriving and spoke to Kaydee. He is the general manager. I told him I was looking for a dryer because my dryer stop working and he informed me that they have plenty to choose from. But I also first looked up their reviews and their reviews were very good. The process was very straight forward and so was the payment process and the service was very friendly. Like I said, I bought this dryer about two months ago but I didn't want to write a review until I had possession of it for at least a couple of months and it still works very well. It is a refurbished kind of old school dryer. Nothing fancy but man it works very very well and it even sounds quiet and sounds brand new and it dry's very well and it gets very hot quickly. I had called the shop because I thought something was wrong with my whirlpool fridge, the filter kept popping out. I asked if they had fixed appliances and the owner told me they had a technician. I had explained to him what was happening and he told me he would call me back. He called me back within 10 mins and told me to wrap the filter head with some plumber tape because the new water Filters the rims were smaller! The second time I called was to have someone come look at my washer. I need to change out the cord because one of the prongs was burnt. I asked if he could send out a technician and he said it would be $70 to have someone come look at it. He said this was a easy fix all I had to do was go to home depot and buy the new cord and it was only $20! He walked my uncle through how to fix it and bam it was done within 15 mins! I would definitely be coming here for any appliances needs because the owner is so honest and all...
