Highly recommend Susan at Adventures Taken! I thought I could plan a 2 week family trip to Italy on my own and found myself completely overwhelmed after countless hours in front of computer and no plan. Finally, I threw in the towel and contacted Susan, and I wish I had done it sooner! After a lovely first meeting she left knowing what we wanted and what we didn’t want and came back with a detailed itinerary for us that hit all the marks. Every detail was planned, it was such a huge relief not having to worry how we were getting from point A to point B, or if we’d even be able to get into the popular tourist attractions, which was a big issue this summer in Italy. I also want to point out that she made sure we had enough down time so we could just enjoy the family time, lingering in a trattoria or getting lost in Venice. I most likely wouldn’t have planned it like this, but I am so happy that she knew we needed this and the best conversations and laughs were in those in-between times. Susan also went above and beyond when my Mom needed to cancel at the last minute, she helped us gather the info needed for the insurance claim and even stepped in to answer their questions while we were away. We will definitely be using Adventures Taken for our next adventure. ...

For the 2nd year in a row, Susan exceeded any expectations we had for a June trip to Milan and Florence to visit our daughter studying abroad. We had some vague ideas, but all of Susan's suggestions were incredible. From her expertise in knowing what would be too crowded and unpleasant, to her making dinner reservations for every single night, to her selection of the best tours, day trips, excursions and her tips for how to enjoy it all -- we feel so lucky to have the benefit of her skill and experience at OUR fingertips. The Milan hotel rooms all open up to a central courtyard full of trees like a secret garden. The B&B in Florence was a GEM-- hidden among an unassuming building was the most precious and spectacular colorful rooms with a rooftop terrace and exceptional personalized service. Going to Pisa and Lucca and Siena and San Gimignano for wine country lunching... The drivers, the tour guides, the Trip App. Again-- A+ service! Thank...

To celebrate a high school graduation we wanted to book a trip to Europe. I called on Susan since she planned such an amazing trip to Italy for us last year. Susan always has great suggestions on how many days to stay , activities and where to stay. She definitely understands the way we like to travel and the our hotel choices and transportation to and from places. We had the best time in Austria, Germany and The Netherlands. - From the Sound of Music tour, to many museums & castles, to Anne Frank and Van Goughs! The tour guides at each location were knowledgeable as well as entertaining. Susan even helped me when I realized I was on the wrong train in Germany. She figured out where I was and had tickets waiting for me to the correct location within 5 minutes of my text to her. We will definitely utilize Susan for the next vacations.
