Edit: It's a cool gym. I like it enough to be a 10 year member (on and off). Good equipment takes forever for them to fix it. I'm a maintenance guy it and I know it shouldn't take a month for a part to come in, but it does happens. Some equipment isn't being maintained at all that have light deficiencies that really do effect the quality of the exercise and the impacts the work out, and with a $30 plus maintenance fee that happened every year and like at minimum 100 members in this one location alone. It is pretty much unacceptable to me to have issues that cant, but should be fixed ina. timely manner. Maintenance fee should be for the equipment not the facility itself. That's what my membership fee is for, use your money effectively. However there is tons of other equipmemt, gear, and classes to use and free vibrating foam rollers. which is arguably one of the best things here. The trainers and staff are cool. Really polite, generous with their information, helpful to anyone that comes in. I'd give a shout out but really it's all of them. Read moreI've been a member with FP on and off for several years and it seems like they're only after one thing... $$. I initially went in to cancel my membership for another gym closer. But the woman at the desk convinced me to just put a freeze on my account to see how I liked the new gym! Understandable. She stated I would not be charged a membership fee.. end of conversation. A couple days later I see a charge to my checking acct from FP. Even though I was NEVER told about this charge & it's NOWHERE in the freeze confirmation email I received.. "your card is on file with us so that means you agree to being charged for certain services regardless of what you were told" as stated by the Manager Rebecca.... I am just shocked. I got another call from Leann who assured me there’s nothing they can do & apparently it's the woman who froze my acct's word over mine (bc she falsified the nite about our interaction) & I wasn't granted a refund. Why do they always have to get something from us? I thought FP was about wellness and health. Read moreEquipment is great! Love the classes. Michelle is a wonderful coach and tries to explain how to do things at your own pace. While other trainers are not as supportive and push you past your comfort level. One of the reasons I left. And when I did leave they made me feel like a failure. But that is okay. If you want a gym that pushes you this is one for you. But if you want one that is low key that you can work out and get positive vibes going your pace you need to try...
