8mts ago I gave it 5 stars! The older waitress was awesome! She was usually alone running the whole place by herself and we always had the right order and treated like we were the only ones there. Went here the other day... not the same! There were 4 tables taken and 2 waitresses. Service should have been better. She was definitely good about giving us time to decide what to order... margaritas are still wonderful, she spilled it as she set it down on the table. We ordered the same thing-his hot mine mild, when I asked if she was sure mine was mild she said yes. (It wasn't, they were both hot) when she asked if she could get us anything else I pointed at the spill and said napkins and utensils. She went and answered the phone! She dropped them off and didn't come back until the check, which we had to flag her for. I asked her about the other lady (I thought was the owner) she told me she retired and... she just thought she was the owner. The food was excellent. The restaurant, however, send to have one standalone air conditioning unit located at the front door and that's it. It was hot before we started eating or food. We were all sweating once we dug in.

We got a pitcher of the gold margarita which didn't taste like it actually had any 1800 in it, and was too sweet for my tastes. Some (or more) lime juice would have been great, along with more tequila. After half a pitcher I didn't even feel a buzz coming around the corner.

Finally, our server was rude. I don't know if it was a bad night because the heat was out and it seemed like there were only two servers for the whole place (which wasn't at capacity but was busy) and that was what made her so grumpy, but we were sitting in the heat and waiting long times for...

Yes, there was one person to do everything in the front and 2-3 in the kitchen. Our food was not hot- or really even warm. It took forever to get our orders- we were there about 30 minutes waiting to get our drink orders. I had the tostadas, which were just ok.

The food seems premade. My friend asked for cheese on the side and was told that was impossible. When she got her food, the cheese- which was just melted cheese, nothing amazing- was melted over the top. If the food was cooked fresh, why was it not possible to get the cheese on the side?

So, overall, it was just a meh. Can only recommend the chips and salsa (which you get 1 for free. Further chips...
