Twisted Cupcake — Restaurant in Manteno

My goodness I have some great things to say about this place. I’m visiting my hometown of Manteno to surprise my parents for Christmas and I was going to get a haircut when I saw this little bakery next door. I was just going to grab a coffee for me and my father when I was greeted by a very nice lady who ended up being the mother of the owner. She was so pleasant and kind she grabbed me the cream and sugar while the other gentleman there grabbed the cups of coffee. They both made light conversation and were so kind. Really made me feel like I’d known them for years. After I got the coffee my eyes moved over to the donuts and I was tempted. So I ordered a frosted white cake donut with sprinkles. THIS WAS THE BEST DONUT ID EVER HAD IN MY LIFE. I don’t know how I’ve lived without them. But I know one thing is for sure. 2 month late review, but definitely necessary. I specifically wanted the most chocolate filled cake I could get for my babyshower. I called around to multiple places to see what others could do, and found only 2 places in the county that could/would provide everything I wanted. Twisted cupcake was able to do it for about 20 bucks cheaper than the other place, so I went with them. They exceeded my expectations!! This was the most delicious chocolate cake I have ever had in my life. Cold or heated up, it was phenomenal!
