Updated- 10/19/25 Dropped another star because ive confirmed Khols increases prices right before putting items on "sale". Their prices are juat absurd in this day and age you can Google lens anything. I just did a toy car my son wants for Christmas. Khols price (on "sale) is $135. Amazon, Target price $85 without any sale. The other thing with Khols is they constantly have a special coupon if you sign up for the Khols card. Ive had it for 5 years and there is never any benefit to being a card holder. Worst of all is they do huge promotions on like 40%, small print says some restrictions apply. Everything is restricted though. Its incredibly hard to find something that qualifies for the coupon so most of the shopping is asking some always too busy worker, "what about this one?". Its frustrating.
Ugh Khols. How do I even explain this place. Its a store that has the most confusing discounts and sales ever. It always says in small print, exclusions. Might as well say "Except anything youre actually here for". Khols cash expires before you leave the damn store. Restricts to certain days, so if you cant make it then youre just screwed. Then there is a 60% off clearance. But if you Google lens you find the same items on Amazon but at the same price as khols "60% off". I confirmed this over several years now. They just mark up an item, then put it "on sale". Anyway I do have the khols card so I'm giving 3 stars for the fact even when I'm completely broke... I can go in there to get an aunt, cousin, nephew, what ever... a birthday gift. Then I also get khols cash which expired before the machine printed it...
Read moreI placed order an order for(4) pairs of lands end pants, when they arrived they were without tags, and the wrong sizes. I reached out to customer care and after chatting for well over 30 minutes I was told to process the return/exchange in store.
I called the store in Mantua, NJ and asked for the MOD. The young lady was super friendly and transferred me to Kevin. Kevin asked me to come on in and he would help the best he could. When I arrived the store staff was very helpful and did what they could. The refund was processed and Kohlâs cash was reissued. I was told that the next step would be to call back to customer service to have them match the sale price I paid on the first order.
I went home and called customer service after waiting for over 37 minutes I was connected with a gentleman that said because the order was in a females names and I sounded like a man that he suspected I was a fraudster and would not be able to help me.
Luckily when I called back to the Mantua store and spoke with Kevin he was again extremely kind and said if I was willing to place the order again he would happily refund the difference after I received the new order.
Kevin was great but as a whole Kohlâs has went to crap. I donât know that Iâll be doing much shopping at Kohl's after...
Read moreOur cashier today Kim was absolutely delightful. She was actually the only employee in my many years of coming to kohls to check our name on her computer and ensure it was us. This resulted in us realizing there was a name that wasnât ours on our account. She helped fix the problem and got us back on track. Though I will say the manager came up behind her and seemed to try and annoyingly rush her without asking what the situation was and placed an unscanned pair of shoes in the bag. I didnât really appreciate the aura of attitude she had. Personally I think Kim is an absolutely amazing employee and deserves to be treated as such for going above and beyond. I know customer service jobs are terrible but Kims happiness and loyalty to her job really shows. Im posting this here as well because she deserves to know how much people appreciate her hard work....
