This was our 2nd time spending our family night doing rooms at this location. The first time we completed the Fort room, this time, we completed the Cell's room. Our group of 6 worked well together (along with a couple of much needed clues) to escape. Our family favorite was the Cell's challenge. The room was larger, and it had some neat/cool stuff going on. Overall, it was a little harder than the Fort. We made it out with only minutes to spare. We are already planning to try the Candy Shop or possibly even go to the other Marietta location to see what they have. No matter which location we go to, it's a great way to get out after dinner on our family game nights. The staff is always great and accommodating. Along with our kids, we vary in age from 30 to 60. There are things in each room that are challenging for all ages. It strengthens team-building within the family. We leave with a true sense of family togetherness and accomplishment. Positive all the way around. ( As a parent, it was great seeing my kids work together for a common goal.) The price was great considering the memories. Can't wait to go back....
Read moreMy escape-room-enthusiast friends and I drove down from Greenville, SC, to play rooms at Urban Escape, and the experience was wonderful. Waldo ran us through all five rooms at the main Marietta location and was a hilarious and fun game guide. His interaction was so much fun. We enjoyed The Cells and the Combat on the High Seas rooms the most of all. Both were such fun themes. The Cells was my favorite because of the way the room starts (no spoilers! I'll just say it was a fun way to use teamwork). The new Ancestral Quest room is such a fantastic set! Without giving anything away, I'll just saw a couple of the puzzles were really satisfying and the soundtrack was great. Michael, the owner, is fantastic, and we also met DeeDee and Silas, who were so nice and fun to talk with. We even went to the wrong location on accident, but Kelsey and Chip there made us feel so welcome and offered to let us play those rooms, too! Just such nice people and such a positive experience. Thank...
Read moreI brought 3 friends with me and we did 2 rooms at this location back to back:
The Cells - The space for this game is enormous which makes it hard to theme all the walls and areas. Most of the puzzles in this room were pretty enjoyable even if they are slightly on the easier site for enthusiasts. There was one puzzle that was not operational during our visit but it didn't really detract from the experience too much.
Little Candy Shop of Horrors - A much tougher room to complete. Very little technology used in this room but some of the puzzles are clever and fun. Unfortunately for us the room wasn't reset properly and we were missing a key but our game master Chip was very nice and apologetic about it and we were still able to advance in the room. There were a few spots in here we needed so nudging from the game master on that can hopefully be smoothed out as more groups complete the room.
I look forward to returning for the remaining rooms at...
