Well now considering that there are 420 reviews about this place and I will be the 421st. I must say, as a thru hiker on the Appalachian Trail, this is a great spot to stop and enjoy some time in town out of the woods for a moment. In fact, I ended up getting a job for about three days to help put together a major coffee spot that is going to be done in maybe two more months. Anyway hi ended up getting a hotel room for the last few nights and There are a lot of nice places in the city. The people are really nice and seeing that I’ve been in Oregon the last couple years it’s interesting to be in a city with the dynamics that Marion has to offer. I have thoroughly appreciated my time here. Anyway back on trail tomorrow. I need a ride to Daleville so I’ll be out there with my dog hitchhiking By the interstate in two days. And if you’re headed that way please help out some hikers. Anyway happy...
Read moreThis was my 1st visit to the Park Drive In. There is a put-put golf course for those who arrive early. The facilities were very clean and well maintained. The only complaint I have with this experience are the rows where you park to watch the movie. The angle or slope for viewing the screen is too shallow. The front of the vehicle, when facing the screen, should be slightly higher. If someone is trying to view the screen from the back seat, it is nearly impossible to see the entire screen comfortably. Several people brought lawn chairs and sat in front of their vehicles, which is a great idea. All in all, it was a pleasant experience for the family! The cost of admission was very reasonable. The co concession and restrooms are easily accessible. I would highly recommend this for a nice...
Read moreThis is probably one of my favorite places in the summer! My family and i go as often as we can! They have an arcade, some of the best ice cream and milkshakes in the area. The strawberry cheesecake ice cream is amazing by itself or in a milkshake just saying lol. They have mini golf. Then back behind all i mentioned above in the drive in part. It's a large open area with tons of parking and smack in the middle is the concession building. You can stay in your car, set up chairs or stretch out on a blanket. The owner is amazing and so kind as are his employees. This place is a true gem! Oh and as far as pricing we are a family of 5. 2 adults 3 kids and you pay a fraction of the price here as you would going to an...
