Let me start by stating I have been in auto sales for over 25 years so I know the ropes. On my initial call to the dealership I got Larry on the phone. He was perfect! Not only did he have product knowledge, very important to me, but he was personable. I did not make my decision that day as I was trying to decide between a KTM xcw and xc. He also did not blow my phone up trying to get me to the dealership. He is a pro and knew he had done his job correctly by providing accurate information. I had finance questions so he put me in touch with Blake another personable pro. Blake has a good knowledge base as well and answered my questions without hesitation so I felt confident in his word. Very important in a finance manager because that is where the rubber meets the road so to speak. The next day I called and had forgotten Larry's name, not his fault, as I contacted 6 dealerships before I spoke with him. A very nice young man came on the line and asked me a few questions and knew exactly who I spoke with. He did not try to start over nor horn in on the sale and that is important to me as I am a salesperson too.. He quickly got Larry on the line. Larry had not forgotten me and knew all the details about what I requested, what was important to me and even where I lived etc. I was very impressed! When I arrived at the dealership as soon as I hit the door I was greeted but not bum-rushed. Very nice. Next Larry introduced me to the parts manager Logan. I was apprehensive about buying parts from the dealership as I am kinda hard to please and an ultimate negotiator. Many stodgy parts guys can't handle this but Logan took it in stride and satisfied me with price and his product knowledge. I'll be doing my future parts purchases with him. Next I had some questions for the the mechanic. So Larry led me to the shop(clean and organized) to speak with Mike another seasoned professional. I asked some very pointed questions about the 2021 KTM XC and he had the answers. We talked about a few things that just a technician would not know so he is an actual mechanic and I felt sure footed in him getting the bike ready. I was in and out in less than an hour and was never rushed nor did I have to wait. There was no bamboozling at all and I drove away with my new bike and a smile on my face. I live over three hours from Marionville Powersports and will do it again when I add a new bike to my stable. Also, this team has KTM, Beta, Sherco, Kawasaki and Roxr products under one roof. All in a town of 2200 people so they must be doing it right. And the area and scenery for the drive is excellent. Give them the first or the last chance at your business and you will be...
Read moreThis is an Awesome place to do business ! A problem with a bike I bought came up and they took care of me so fast it made my head swim...! And the Awesome thing is... They didn't have to. Steve (the owner) and Larry (the joker) just wanted to do the right thing. How about that from a Dealer! Now they have a customer for life. They ride, they race, they understand. If you are new (like me) or old to Power Sports, Steve, Larry and Dave will help you get "ON" the bike of your dreams. That for me is a 2018 YZ250FX!!! They have a bunch of Side by Sides and Four Wheelers.... but who cares. Two wheels or no wheels forever!!! What made buying from MPS a Great experience is they are down to earth, friendly knowledgeable people. Many of whom love to Ride. From the Service department, Hi Sam, to the Parts and Accessories staff "What up Whit, Cole, and Chris!" They are knowledgeable and helpful. Chris by the way, showed me the proper technique for throwing my bike up on the stand. Thanks Chris...lol But that's just the kind of thing I'm talking about. It's the little things that make All the difference. When you buy a bike, buy it from some who cares, some who knows what they're talking about through experience, and someone you want to go back to. That's MPS... Jumping, sliding, wheeling, it's all I think about now.. ... Well that and dodging trees down at Chadwick...lol Now I am hungry to go ride everyday...lol Thanks a lot Steve and Larry! Larry, Kim (Larry's wife), Mckenzi and Tim in sales will get you hooked up and the Staff will get you set up and ready to Ride. Last but not least... I want to thank the "Heartbeat" of the business, All the unseen hard working Professional Mechanics , "in the back" who put everything together and keep everything running. I thank you very much, because if my bike won't start or run right, the dream becomes a nightmare...lol Thanks to All the folks at MPS for making my buying experience easy and awesome. I am looking forward to a long and adventurous friendship. Special Shoutout to my Sweetie, Nancy Fancypants who made this whole dream possible. I thank you the Most sweetie..:) Time to GOAR! Get...
Read moreMy experience is not very good! First they had a leftover CFMOTO from 2016 brand new. So, I purchased it and off I went. Well 4 miles in the atv, the oil light came on when I was checking cattle two miles from my house . Come to find out they left the oil drain screw loose and lost oil. I called them and put oil in it for them to say it’s alright even though the oil light stayed on. At 8 miles, it shut down to never start again. So I took it to them and they replaced it with another 2016 left over that came out of no where because I wanted to buy another if they had it for my wife but they told me the one I bought was the last one. I asked my sales person how they came up with another one when I asked about buying two when I was in there the first time. She said they had forgotten it was back there???. So at this point I was wondering what kinda business they were running if they don’t know what they have. So they delivered this newly appeared other brand new 2016 to my house. The driver had the atv running on the trailer as I walked out and noticed it back firing as it sat there. Of course I asked what is the deal and he told me it was cold natured. Mind you these are fuel injected . So after 20 minutes we pull it off the trailer and couldn’t even drive it down the road . So he takes it back and they change out the parts from my first blown up one to this one. It comes back and still had running issues and couldn’t drive it. So I take it to my local CFMOTO dealer for them to say it has a fuel issue and a knock that concerns them. So, I called Marrionville power sports for them to say let them pick it up and they will make it right! Two days goes by and the owner there told me there’s nothing wrong with it and nothing he can do besides give me a less atv for what I spent or I could pay another 1500 to buy a 2019. The sad thing is, my local dealer priced a 2019 for 500 dollars cheaper so they really cared about customer service. My atv is back at my local dealer being worked on and waiting for an answer. Normally I never write a post or review if it’s negitive but I don’t want others to go through what I have...
