Dollar General — Local services in Markey Township

Shopping in this store was not a pleasant experience. The music was extremely loud which I think was aggravating people.The prices on the shelves did not match the prices at the register and were several dollars more. At the register a customer behind us started harassing us (not the cashier) and using foul language because the cashier was trying to sort out the prices and he didn’t like how long it was taking. Instead of intervening the employees left us to deal with the customer and he yelled and swore at us the entire time we were waiting to pay. I can’t believe they allowed that. Putting this store up where they did was a great idea. It's much more convenient for people living in the area than having to drive all the way to Houghton Lake. The hours are great. The store is always neat, clean and organized. The staff are very friendly and helpful.
