Stopped on a Saturday night. Last night of camping at South Higgins Lake State Park. It's cool to walk from the camp ground to the ice cream place. This place is your little town feel side of the road ice cream place. BUT, the menu is quite appealing ! Ice cream nachos. Specialty drinks and tons of choices. It's impressive. Four stars only because of the following: Banana caramel crunch sundae. No nuts. Had nuts. That's a slight no no. But it was good. Butterfinger flurry is a butter finger flurry. Chocolate banana malt was gritty as they didn't mix it enough. The malt was stuck like cement down at the bottom. The long line was quick. Service was speedy for 9:00 pm and the staff was polite. We will return. We will explore the menu further. :)

Yummy and good prices for the huge serving size! If you get a frosty in a cone just be ready to deal with a lot of drips lol. The base ice cream we didn’t find to have much flavor (mocha, birthday cake etc) but instead tasted like vanilla + the add-ins. Still yummy, and the frosties have huge pieces of candy/cake/dessert in them. Update: the no sugar added mint chocolate chip was amazing and two scoops was ginormous in the waffle cone! Even enough for two large servings. The line was pretty darn long so it took us maybe 30-ish minutes to get the ice cream but they worked efficiently and it was worth it.

Went here pretty much every day while staying at Higgins Lake. Large selection of frozen treats: Guernsey Farms hard pack, soft serve, flurries, slushes, etc. Many vegan options. For those with allergies like my son the soft serve is nut free, and we got him a slushie as well. If you let them know of an allergy when ordering they have a procedure to reduce contamination as much as possible. Some tables outside, and a small area for kids to play in the back (that could use some TLC). Place is very popular, at time there cana be a wait.

I spent nearly $12 on a one scoop kids cup and a 2 scoop cup of ice cream. Nothing fancy. It was 80° out, and honestly I can not even eat 1 full scoop. I wanted 2 flavors but 1 scoop. Ok it's not even a scoop, it's a Huge portion of ice cream not even in a ball. But they wouldn't let me . I wasn't asking for more ice cream I was just asking for two flavors. So I had to pay the extra for the other flavor as well and then it really just went to waste and made a huge mess. I don't understand why they can't do more than one flavor but do it in a smaller quantity. Just aggravating and their customer service was really not good!!

So I decided to try nibbles again and the line was not very long there were only about two people in front of me and it still took me over 25 minutes to get my ice cream. The prices are just ridiculous. Two for two poor experiences I'm good I'm...

This was the second and last time I go there. The wait when nobody is waiting for a $7.50 small malt is absurd. The price is not the main issue unfortunately. All I get is crunchy malt mix at the bottom and honestly throughout. Its obvious proper time is not being taken to mix it correctly. Which again is a shame do to wait time and price. The 1 employee taking orders is faster than the 1 employee making the items. A person would think for a place only open in the summer you would have more help and do better on the hottest day so far. Still at 4pm we did not wait one second to order but waited 20 minutes for a malt that was made with not enough time ironically. Ill go into the village or chain DQ before coming back again. Maybe have the person taking orders pause to help get out the current orders before continuing to take new ones? Good luck in your...

Update: The owner messaged me and apologized for the situation and said this was a learning opportunity for them. He invited me to stop by to talk about the situation and offered me a refund for the amount we paid for the second cone. Overall a good experience and the owner was reasonable. When I come back next year this is still on my top 3 places to visit.

BUYER BEWARE. Been coming here for 14 years so sad when a buisness sacrifices customer satisfaction for profit. My little niece ordered a double scoop on a cake cone. She went to take her first taste and the ice cream fell out of the cone. The ice cream was not packed into the cone at all. We requested a new cone and they said we had to pay full price. They said there is a policy of "Once it leaves out the window, WE ALREADY HAVE YOUR MONEY AND ...
