Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Marrero

So I’m sitting in the drive thru at this location and I noticed about 4 workers in uniform leaving the restaurant with big boxes of chicken. I pray the owner reads this and check the cameras. Cause there is a sign in the door saying the lobby is close due to a shortage or workers. That’s weird…all the workers leaving with the chicken…we are backing out 5 cars deep to let people out that have been waiting to place their orders for the last 30 mins. I call the number here and they let some lil boy answer…you know the one that drags their voice like they’re a rapper…merciful heavens..I asked him if they were still taking orders…he drags and says…weeeeeeeee gooooooootttt aaaaaa shorrrttttaaagggeeee offffff woooorrrrkkkkerrrrss…I stated that the workers just left with all of the chicken….he said….mannnnn thhhaaattttt pppprrrrooollllyyy wwaassssnnnttt oooouuurrrrrr wwwwwoooorrrkkkkeeerrrss….im like…I literally see them with the Popeyes uniforms on…he says…weeeeeeelllllll wwwweeeeee ggggoooottttaaaa dddoooooo wwwwwhhhhhhaaaattttt wewwwweeeee ggggooottttaaaa ddddoooo…of course I hung up…made absolutely no sense to engage this unrapper with any more conversation…this is pathetic and extremely pitiful. I really hope the owner reads this and maybe check on ya people cause they running this establishment in the ground. It’s sad when even radio host make jokes about yall not having this or sold out of that…so sad…I may as well go on over to Chicfila and get me a salad🤦🏽‍♀️bye Popeyes 🙋🏽‍♀️ P.S. I had to add that once I received my chicken, 2 gallons of gas later🙄it was the best 2- piece white spicy I’ve had in a lonnnngggg time from...

I walked into this location #2009, on 7/7/2017, at around 7:34pm. As I walked into the establishment I notice the manager on duty walking in from the other side, she looked me in my face and said nothing! Than there was three employees just talking by the register and one that was sweeping the floor did not even wash her hands after using the broom, but walked over to the register and just ask me dining in or taken out. The cashier never once said to me nor the other customers that walked in after"welcome to Popeye's",how can I help"! When I received my order the other employee was playing my order of large red beans and rice and small mash potatoes with gravy, side ways in my bag! I had to place it the correct way! This location is poorly manage from the manager that's on duty and her subordinate that acts like there doing customers a favor coming to this location. There should be accountability from the manager on duty to the subordinates that works under her supervision!

Greeting each customers and inviting them back will bring more business to this location! Lack of leadership at this location is unsat!

I recommend that the corporate level look into this location closely and they will see why this location is always emptied!

To many staff members not being given assignments to do. The restroom for insistence is dirty and smells like mold! The dining room area has tables that are dirty!

I even saw a roach running on the counter!I will never patronize this location again until they correct...

Food was good HOWEVER the customer service was HORRIBLE!! We had to repeat or order several times then when we got to the window we were handed a receipt and told "Check it BEFORE I take your card!". So, we told them what needed to be corrected and gave them the card and receipt. At this point they tell us they only have enough frozen lemonade for 1, as we are staring at an almost FULL container of frozen lemonade. So, I then told them that I didn't only want the 1 for the sake of my kids fighting, etc... and asked for a coke instead I then get told that they can't give me coke only flavored coke! At this point I'm beyond frustrated so I told them just to give me the lemonade and I'd divide it. We are then handed our food and begin checking it to find out that they are missing items. When we told them we were given a little attitude and they handed us our missing food. Well, as we opened the bag my boyfriend was told "Ummm, we are on a timer, you need to move!!!!". Needless to say my boyfriend did exchange words with the worker reminding her that the whole reason we were so closely checking our food was because they were the ones to mess it up in the first place. This same worker came back with rude and obnoxious comments that were completely uncalled for! We are VERY frequent customers of this particular Popeye's restaurant and don't plan on going back...
