Holiday Shopping Center — Local services in Martinsville

Hoilday Shopping Center has been open with lots of space for businesses to lease since i was a little girl, i was born in 1974 and not much has changed. They have the same 70s style sign up from, well the 70s! The parking is awesome, although its on a steep incline and the ceilings in the doctors office thats located there Community Health Care , i believe is the name, and Jackson Hewitt Tax Service needs roof repairs to control leaks and there is evidence of some mold issues in the air vents.I love going to Deluxe Pawn Shop and its my main reason for visiting the shopping center. They have plenty of space inside for displays and the staff is very down to earth and friendly, but you can see the ceiling needs repair from age and thats not the businesses that are open at Holiday Shopping Centers responceability. Im sure it is a concern for the businesses that lease there, in my opinion. It needs some repair, and some modernization ,i think, and it would breathe life back into that establishment and it would be a nice Shopping Center for Collinsville, Martinsville, and surrounding counties for businesses...

Roofs have leaked twice at 2 different locations Love & Hope Ministries and the political party place next door. looked like someone spilled coffee ,was dark water. And smelled bad. The furnace at the church does not work properly .One saturday the carbone dioxide detector went off. A clinic has closed after the Dr. was arrested for drug related charges. The trash needs to be picked up more often or more receptacles or. A dumpster placed outside for vendor usage as it is always overflowing n the wind blows...

Seems old and rundown, as far as small town businesses go I don't think this is a good location if you want to thrive. However there are some big names in this little strip mall as far as our small town businesses go but most of them already made their mark and a name for themselves in a separate location. Deluxe Pawn, Luna Moth, Temptations, and Shhhh. So they could attract clientele for the smaller businesses and have this old...
