Cook Out — Restaurant in Virginia

I love Cookout. I can't give it 5 stars though because it's not quite there, all-in-all. That said, my favorite thing there is the cheese bites. Yesss, delicious.

I used to go just about every week and order a big tray with a quesadilla, walking taco, cheese bites, and a huge tea. But, my walking tacos have now been RUINED, because they have started replacing the taco meat with some sort of bitter, burnt chili. I took one bite, spit it out, and threw it away. It smelled terrible too! Not sure why they changed the Walking Taco but it is a mistake. I now make mine at home.

I do still eat at Cook Out though, but just get double the cheese bites instead. And I often add a milkshake, since they are also delicious. I do have a complaint about those though; recently the size of the shake has been greatly reduced. Still costs the...

according to receipt, porshia was the one who took our order- felt rushed. She was very rude and impatient with us while we were trying to order our food. We ordered a BBQ plate and she gave a bbq sandwich plate instead. We ordered 3 pbf milkshakes and she only got two when she read the order back to us. Very impatient with us- we don't come to cookout hardly at all- normally only when we are out of town- we won't be coming back to this one because of this one employee. Then when we sat in line making sure our food was correct- she was rushing us then because she handed us a wrong plate and was wanting to swap it out. Hopefully she didn't give that plate to the next car and made the food over. I get people have bad days and hopefully not everyone she waits on is treated like this when...

I don't know what kind of staff they have but they all are awful. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. Pull up to the window and a boy with corn rows digging at his hair. Then the two females working the register kept rolling their eyes and kept saying things under their breath. The little one with the rose tattoo on her neck and the big ol lashes completely walked away and shut the window in our face, The other one with the weave just rolled her eyes at us then handed us our food with not one word, we actually had to ask if that was it, she just said "ya" and that was it. These people suck so badly. I used to love cookout but the people they have hired have completely ruined it. So so sad. If yall don't want to work there just go home stop making everyone else...
