We have patronized this place for years, but this is the second time we've had a horrible experience recently, and the last time we ever go back because it took bad experiences to a new level. When we needed a little more time deciding what we wanted, the waitress gave us a condescending look like we were the worst people on the planet, and came back 30 seconds later pushing us to hurry up and order. She was also condescending when we ordered our food by correcting the way we said "Tacos a la Diabla" and "Chile Relleno". The hot food was rubbery (thanks Gordon Ramsay for describing what super-fast from the kitchen, microwaved food is like). She did not acknowledge anytime we thanked her. When it came time to take our plates, she acted offended that I didn't eat the room temp rice and beans. No reaction when I told her they were not hot at all. (FYI to anyone that cares: hot plates and lukewarm food indicates MICROWAVED...). My husband told the cashier about our bad experience, only because he asked, and we got no apology and no question as to what was bad, and no offer to make it right. This place is declining in their quality of everything extremely quickly. Sadly...their bartender is the best thing about the place. He's been our waiter a lot of the time and everything was great. Even if the food is not great, good service can go a long way and keep people coming back...I hope they take this review and other negative reviews seriously as a way to improve their service and...
Read moreDid not have a good experience at this place tonight. From the moment we walked in, the service was horrible. The waitress came to our table 3 times to ask if we were ready to order within less than 10 mins of us sitting down. Then after we ordered, we only saw her once until we got our bill. I got 2 tacos and rice and beans, she forgot the sour cream and tomatoes on it, and it reaked of peanuts and tasted almost like peanut butter was in my food. We waited for 10 mins for her to come back because we had no silverware either, and I ended up having to look for her and found the manager. I talked to the manager and he basically blew me off when i asked if they used peanut oil to cook their food, by saying “no we use vegetable oil, do you want to see the cans” smiling, and walked away. Didnt even attempt to make it right in any way, which made me the most angry. Like im sorry, i cant just make up a smell like that. I even told my boyfriend to smell the plate before I even told him what it smelled like, and he said, “Ew it smells like peanut butter”. Thank god I don’t have a peanut allergy, or I would be sueing.
Anyways, I am not one of those miserable people who just look to complain either. I’ve worked in the restaurant business and have been a server for years, so I am always patient and understanding when im in a restaurant. But honestly, the way I was treated was...
Read moreSo my family and i ate at this restaurant tonight, as we have 100 times before, and ordered what we usually order. We picked up on the newer waitress not fully understanding the particulars of our order, we explained ourselves, over and over, we also pointed to the description on the menu , things didn't come out as we had ordered, missing items and ingredients that had asked to be held added, but we're flexible and forgiving , so we bring it up but again , the waitress didn't understand us. We carry on , but when we got our ticket , and noticed the kids plates were rung up as adult plates and an extra drink was added, we asked the manager at counter to adjust the bill , as it was almost 35 dollars more than our usual price...he argued that he sent out adult plates and wouldn't make a bill adjustment, and walked away, would not take one minute to listen as we explained..we tried to bring this to our waitress attention several times.. needless to say my family will no longer be visiting this business, nor will I keep supporting a businessman with such a...
