My grandson and I went to see a movie that was to start at 12:45 p.m. We arrived plenty of time before the movie was to begin only to wait in line to buy tickets and get concessions at the same transaction. Only one person working and she seemed to be training a new young man. The staff was very kind and did the best they could. She was letting those coming to see Inside out 2 know that that theater was hot, we then decided to watch Garfield only to find out we had already missed the first 7 minutes of the movie. She did let us know that the air conditioner in that theater was working. It felt wonderful in there. Suggestion only. If you are short staffed and have a line that was clearly there on time to get in and do what you must before the movie is to begin the movie should wait for the line to go down then start the movie. 5 star theater but my rating today only reflects the experience we had today. Very clean and loved the...
Read moreAwful experience to say the least. Went to the 8:15 showing of a quiet place:day one, movie was ok until the picture cut out the last 15 minutes of the movie, my husband went to notify the girl working the concession stand, but she was no where to be found. After 5 minutes waiting, my husband came back, and we just listened to the rest of the movie. Upon leaving, we noticed that the girl was back, when I went to mention that the picture cut out near the end, I was given the sarcastic response of 'well you should have let me know'....we tried to let you know, but you were nowhere to be found when needed...needless to say I won't be returning, the theater itself was ok but the negative employee response and lack of caring...
Read moreI spent $19 .50 dollars to go see a The Secret in Their Eyes. My ticket said to report to "theatre 7". I have been to Hollywood Cinemas a few times before, however I never went to a movie in "theatre 7". When I walked into theatre seven it was nothing but a mere storage room, with a wobbly wooden platform and a few dozen broken, wobbly seats built onto it. I could even here the blaring sounds of the theatre next door. I could not here anything, and the projected was not showing up well. When I asked for compensation I was denied and said it was against "policy". It was the worst theatrical experience of my life. I would not recommend you to go to Hollywood Cinemas it was extremely unprofessional , unkept, and quite...
