Cycology Bicycles is great. I purchased a new Trek Checkpoint a couple of weeks ago. Charles was very patient through my many visits as I changed back and forth between the Checkpoint and Domane. The day I came in to finally make the purchase, Eddie the bike fitter happened to be there, so Charles had him spend some time helping me decide on the correct frame size. The final decision was made, and the bike had to be ordered because I wanted a color and frame size that wasn't in stock.
The first day I rode my new bike, there was a factory issue with the chain which caused major damage to the the rear derailleur, which also caused some slight damage to the frame. Because the bike was brand new, Ernie the service manager asked Trek to replace the bike instead of just repairing the damage. This happened on a Saturday and by the following Saturday I was again on my new Trek (only 7 days to assess the problem, negotiate with the factory, order the new bike, and put it together when it arrived at the store).
When I arrived at the store to pick up the 2nd new bike, I also picked out a handful of parts like pedals, a rack, Garmin mounts, flat repair kit, some tools, etc. When I went to pay for them, Charles and Ernie informed me that the store and Trek were covering the price of the accessories because they wanted to make up for my problem with the new bike. Wow, this was a few hundred dollars in merchandise that they took care of.
I initially went to Cycology Bicycles because of the number of 5-star Google reviews the store had. It’s now easy to see why everyone likes them. Even though I had a problem with a new bike, the staff at Cycology more than took care of the problem and turned what could have been a bad experience into a great experience.
I will definitely be making Cycology my local bike shop as well as telling everyone about my...
Read moreHad been looking online for some climbing rated carabiners for a couple small Ziplines I'm setting up in my yard for my children. Amazon had lots to choose from but since these will be holding up my children I wanted a trusted brand like black diamond or petzl. After much online shopping it seemed that Amazon with my prime membership was going to be my most affordable option. But before I pulled the trigger and spent $20 to $35 each on Amazon I thought I better make the 20 min drive up to LRTC and see if I could get lucky and catch a sale or something. I'm sooooo glad I did!!!! There wasn't a sale on their climbing equipment at all, yet their prices for the exact same items I was about to buy from Amazon were much lower! I was blown away! I ended up getting 6 carabiners and still paid $20 less than what I would have paid for only 4 biners on Amazon. I almost didn't want to post this because what if someone cleans them out before I can save up enough to buy a few more items from them. lol. Like my own little secret. Hahaha . But in all honesty I hope someone else reads this and I'm able to save them a few $ and at the same time help keep LRTC in business so they will always be there to help us out. You guys are awesome!! Thank you again for always being there to keep me geared up for all my...
Read moreIn years past we only came to your store when we had no other choice because we dreaded the customer service there. We were always ignored or talked down to IF we did get to speak to somebody. BUT NOW, we've experienced the most AMAZING customer service anywhere! My husband and I came to buy cycling shoes and as soon as we walked in the door a young man greeted me with a smile, eye contact & asked If we were looking for anything in particular and walked us over to the cycling room. We saw a lot of workers, but just when we thought we were being ignored again Caroline approached offering assistance. She was very knowledgeable and helped us immensely, we truly received phenomenal service! Caroline was hands-on, kind, patient & informative. But most importantly she asked questions and listened. We decided to purchase all of our cycling needs there with her continued help (2 pairs of shoes, 5 pairs of socks, 2 mirrors, 2 pair of gloves and more). Not until we were at the register did we realize Caroline is a GM. She didn't brag about her status or pawn us on to anyone else. Caroline herself got down on her knees time and time again during the shoe / sock trying on even though we were sweaty after just having been on a bike ride. Thank you for the warm and wonderful experience Caroline!!! We...
