Amazing food and wonderful service. We had low expectations entering a small restaurant sharing a building with a gas station but turns out this place is amazing. This all scratch kitchen makes their sauces and tortillas in small batches twice per day then your meals are made to order. I had the Mexican bowl special: steak, pulled pork AND chorizo served over rice and beans topped with a sliced avocado fan. It was incredibly fresh and delicious! My companion enjoyed steak quesadillas with the same accoutrements. There is a nice toppings bar with four different salsas to satisfy every taste. The owner came by the table just like in a fancy restaurant and was so friendly and accommodating! This place is not glamorous, but the amazing flavorful fresh authentic Mexican (not Tex-Mex) food and friendly service for less than $15 per person makes this one of the best places you will find to eat if you are anywhere...

GLUTEN AND DAIRY: great gluten free and dairy free options. Everything is made on site and they easily make swaps for all meals. I swapped breaded flounder for grilled tilapia and had my corn cheese free. Many of their sauces contain evaporated milk but plenty of others are vegetable based. They offer delicious fried plantains, so a great gluten and dairy free dessert option!
SERVICE: The owner, Miguel, is a fabulous cook as well as an incredibly friendly and accommodating person. Food truly seems to be his love language! He loves what he does and his incredible food reflects that. He’s one of those guys who deserves to be on a food show like Somebody Feed Phil! He had no issues giving us food ingredient information and kept checking in on us throughout our meal. Thank you for the incredible service, Miguel! We would love to go back next time we’re in...
Read moreWent in for dinner after work. They really did a great job remodeling the disaster that was Huddle House. It's clean and very nice inside. I got two chicken tacos which are made with pineapple and onions. They were alright but not really memorable. I got ACP which is grilled chicken on spanish rice with queso cheese poured over it. Again unfortunately I found it edible but not memorable. Lastly I got Mexican corn in a cup. In Chicago this is mayo, butter and chili powder which I love. There's was corn with lime and crumbled cheese on top. It wasn't something I'll get again. I really want to like this place but it's just not making an impression on me. For me there's two places in Maryville that have excellent Mexican food and I'll probably stick to those. Super nice people and great service in a cool atmosphere but just not really...
