Waffle House — Restaurant in Maryville

Just stopped by to eat some dinner with my husband and son ( special needs) and the place had dirty tables that had not been prebussed from the server and we where directed to a table. She asked if we where ready to order? Had no menus and thin my husband over heard the sever make a comment about me and my lunch lady fat arms and joked with man sitting behind me and making fat comments. Went in for breakfast this morning with the family. Got an all American breakfast and so did my girl. The waffle, as always, was phenomenal. Eggs, hashbrowns and toast all perfectly cooked. Toast and jam was good. Grits are very good. The bacon had a very odd taste and was not good. Not sure if it was cheap bacon or because this place is new and the grill isn't seasoned yet. Years of cooking 24hrs a day make the grill have a good season on it. The staff was excellent and attentive. The place is clean and well maintained. You always know what your getting at Waffle House and this one...

Me and 4 of my friends came in here at 1am and proceeded to sit in a booth for 20 minutes… no silverware, no drinks, and no order. Terrible service. I even saw a staff member look me in the eye, say something to her coworker pointing at us, and then still not come take our order. We walked out without a peep from them too. To add on top of that, there were two groups of people that walked in after us that got their order taken within 3 minutes.
