If you call any other service before Control Freaks, you're wasting your time. These guys are by far the most professional, helpful, honest and genuine group I've found on the island. My handyman had no clue why my ceiling fan went dead. I called several electricians around Maui. If you've done anything similar, you know how this song goes next - most of them couldn't be bothered to take my call, return a message or, if I did get to talk to a live human, provide any real timeframe when they could come look. Control Freaks not only took my call, but made a special trip from the other side of the island the same day to check it out. When a miscommunication caused us to miss our first appointment (my fault), they were totally understanding and came back again the next day. Parts, a closed fan shop and other logistical issues caused them to make several more trips out to our place in Kahana - never a complaint. Never anything less than a truly genuine desire to help us out and make things right. I've worked with electricians, smart home developers and similar contractors in cities all around the US.    Read moreExcellent Experience. About 1-year ago, I worked with ControlFreaks Hawaii (Hartford Wright), and had a Mesh Network installed. Everything has been working great and Hartford did an amazing job taking care of our property. Recently, I switched to fiber service and, my mesh Network was no longer performing well (after 1-year plus of no problems). I tried to get hold of ControlFreaks (email, and phone), my wife works from home, and connectivity is a Huge issue. When Hartford found out that through a series of miscommunication (some misunderstanding on my part, some on ControlFeaks) he immediately contacted me and promised to get us back and running - same day. I should mention this is exceptional because they are very busy and a service date may takes days or weeks pending workload (they also provide a priority service for a monthly fee). Hartford corrected the system and explained the rebooting sequence. He also went over my login and service speed. Hartford left no stone unturned, professional, courteous, and highly experienced. They adjusted the bill to reflect the time they didn’t use (finished early, excellent quality work, and big savings) instead of wasting time, I’ve had work done before by other electricians and they never did that, they charged the same they quoted and the work was not quality work. btw I didn’t even have to ask they did it on their own.
