OGO started off with a food truck that used to park within the Maui Lani Village mixed use subdivision. A few years later they opened a brick & mortar in Wailuku Industrial but has since temporarily closed.

FOOD: Miso Buffalo Wings Plate I had to try this first as I love chicken wings. The plate consisted of a mix of wingettes and drummettes, big scoop of white rice, and a scoop of pesto macaroni salad. The wings were amazingly full of bold miso and buffalo flavors that went all the way to the bone, though there was no spice at all. They weren't crispy like traditional fried chicken wings as the thick sauce doused most of the crispiness, but there were a few crunchy portions of the skin here and there. The pesto mac salad was really good; a nice change from the usual mayo-slathered concoction that accompanies most plate lunches, but was a bit oily. Oddly, the oil also found its way under the wings which were in a separate compartment of the takeout container from the mac salad. The mound of white rice was perfectly steamed with no mushiness or dryness. Highly recommended for the chicken wing fan.

SERVICE: The gal taking orders was friendly and professional. Food delivery took about 10 minutes.

OVERALL: Simple yet pleasing menu. Awesome prices and tasty cuisine makes for a...

I have been a loyal customer since they were serving food out of there food truck over by Maui lani ace. So I was thrilled to see that they had gotten a brick and mortar spot because depending on my schedule I would miss them when they were in the food truck. I have eaten here on 4 or 5 different occasions so far and every time I eat here it is incredible. I love the flavors of the different dishes. One of my favorite ones is the Hamachi with the shave ice ponzu. I have tried this dish at many different places they out the islands and up and down the west coast. I think this is one of the best presentation and flavor profiles that I have had. I can say I have had almost everything on the menu and have enjoyed every meal. You won’t be sorry no matter what you order. If it’s your first time ask the waitress she is always super helpful and takes good care of us. I can’t wait to have dinner or lunch...

What actually just happened?!?😳 I feel like we just went into this other world experience of love in every mouthful. To start, the best oysters I've ever had, they just fell apart with the softest bite. Then the cioppino with just the right touch of flavor. You could not smell a fish scent at all with these dishes. Seafood doesn't lie, that stuff was fresh! The gnocchi blew me away, it really plays on hitting all the senses. With texture, creamy smooth flavors but then the hit you need to break it with the bacon in there. Maui oxtail Katsu was divine and finished with choc dessert thing which I can't remember the name of because by that point I was pretty much lost for words 🤣. Looking forward to trying more menu items the next!...

Me & my fiancé came to OGO’s for Valentine’s Day, & let me say it was one of the best places we have ever ate in a long time. My fiancé ordered the veal with mushroom risotto and omg! The veal was so tender and soft! You just touched it with the tip of your fork and it started falling off the bone! I had the special, steak with crab on top and it was so delicious! Everything was filling! We had awesome service, & the atmosphere was wonderful. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone who’s looking to eat good food. We had an awesome time & we will definitely be back!
