Today July 10 2023 I had purchased 2 rolls of aluminum foil, the price on the shelf said $5.29 per roll they rang up at $9.89 per roll I did not know this until after I had paid for all of my items. When I looked at the receipt it seemed a little excessive then I noticed that I was overcharged on both rolls of aluminum foil I brought it to the attention of the cashier and the manager at the time in the store. They both checked the price on the shelf and what the register had rang up. I was correct that I was over charged. According to the manager in charge the policy of bent and dent in Mauston is either I keep the overcharged items or get an in-store credit that had to be used today the date of the mistake. I did not want to spend $18 on any other items that day I was willing to take the credit and shop another day but she said no it had to be used today. This doesn't seem like a policy that works well with people. So when shopping at the Marston Bent and dent the price on the shelf may not be what you are being charged check your receipt before you pay because you won't get your money back I am a little upset I usually don't do bad reviews but this just doesn't make sense and it's very bad public...

Because the manager was very rude to me for no reason, when I was just asking a simple question is why I gave them 2 stars. I called at 10:40 on Wednesday (today) and was wanting to know if there was any stock because we just spent approximately $200 on two trips to very empty shelves since Friday. Check all of the expiration dates! Lots of items past expiration with still a higher price than Aldi or Walmart. HELLO!!! They do have some good deals, but you really have to look.. Now I believe the review from the guy who was way overcharged for the tin foil and given a lot of grief from the manager. I even questioned her about his review when we were in the store and she said he was rude. Well from how she just treated me, a good customer, I think she needs to take a long vacation or look for a new job because her behavior was just unacceptable. Welcome respite from the high priced supermarket chains. My heartfelt thanks go to you and your other stores. Clean environment, staff is courteous and proffessional. Things I would change, nothing! Festival foods should take notice. It's difficult to make ends meet, when retailers don't price items at reasonable prices. CEO's profit astronomically. Why should they concern themselves with the consumer? Also these chains vary the pricing according to location.
