Godwin's Furniture and Mattress — Local services in Mayfield Township

Went in to look at furniture and couldn't find anyone to assist me. When I noticed a couple of women come out of an area carrying drinks, they just looked through me as if I was just another piece of furniture. I proceeded to ask one of them if anyone was working that could assist me. When she showed me some of the chairs she wasn't very knowledgeable in the products and then showed me a chair that I had sat in prior to finding someone and found that it was not fit to be on any showroom floor to be sold. She said that the chair was a sold as is. Really!!! I found the place to be dirty and the furniture had a thick film of dust, not a positive place to shop. Custoer service is lacking!!! Found what I needed at another store where the staff were knowledgeable...

We bought a matching furniture set from them, and purchased the insurance, nothing but a hassle. The couch needed to be worked on immediately. They sent someone out to fix it. The person that came out to fix it left a hole where the upper cushion is attached. Was told that they won’t do anymore work on it, when it was clearly their fault. So insurance and warranty was voided and we were offered a small portion for them to take our couch back and we could buy a new one. We don’t want to break up our set. I wouldn’t recommend purchasing from them. We bought the insurance and warranty had the couch less then two years they worked on it twice and won’t honor there commitments in...

Actually didn't hate it as you stated however my husband and I walked in hoping to purchase furniture. We were approached by a clerk 1of 2 in the store that morning. She asked if she could help us and we said first we're looking, she never asked us what we were looking for, we could have been shopping for a whole house of furniture but she never asked, we walked through the whole store pass her and the other clerk both were checking things on their phones neither one of them asked if they could help us.
