Serene spa with beautiful indoor and outdoor hot mineral pools. I paid $20 for a day pass to soak in the pools and it was delightful! There are many available ameneties, such as lockers to store valuables, a steam room, lounge chairs, fruit and beverages, robe and slippers to wear, and toiletries to freshen up. You can even order food and drinks from The Cutwater restaurant and have them delivered poolside! What luxury! The water in the pools was perfect temperature and the environment was peaceful and comfortable. I would have dozed off on one of the cushy lounge chairs if I had more time to spend there (I only had a few hours before heading home, though the pass itself does allow all day access if you so choose to spend the entire day relaxing). The spa receptionist was quite helpful and attentive, giving me a thorough tour of the facilities. I recommend calling the spa in advance of your visit to check availability as they keep the number of guests to a minimum. I really loved my quiet relaxation time at The Cove and would love to return again in the future!

Wife and I had a nice stay at shore lodge and visit to the cove. We both had a massage and spent time in the therapy spas indoor & outdoor. Good/drink service was nice and I recommend the shore fashioned. The locker rooms were very nicely set up and managed. Really have everything you could ever want in there including a sauna. I would suggest they update the wood paneling in the spa area this spring/summer. It’s pretty tacky, but the rest of the area looks very nice. I know that water and heat cause expansion that would cause a lot of pressure on the boards and cause some to work their way loose, but it also is a liability to have boards capable of falling on a customer. I would just do some new fake wood that looks nice and it will last another 50 years and everyone will like the look still.

My husband and I got married yesterday and for our honeymoon I surprised him with a massage in McCall (which is where we are staying). We showed up and were immediately helped and shown what to do. The appointment was on time and the massage was amazing. The ladies were very professional and were great at making sure we were comfortable and the pressure wasn’t too much or too little. After the massage, we went into the hot springs as the two hour complimentary service. We were the only ones there the full two hours so it was like our own private time, which was so needed and relaxing. We ordered a sandwich and it was very good as well. I want to go back someday again for surešŸ«¶šŸ¼

I booked my room at Shore Lodge 3 months in advance for our wedding anniversary and specifically asked about booking a $300 couples massage at the Cove Spa. The front desk assured me I wouldn’t need to worry about booking far ahead of time. When we arrived, the Cove Spa informed me they are completely separate from the lodge and have a 6-month service request list—something I’ve never even heard of. Why not just book me for a service? On top of that, they no longer allow guests to pay for soaks, and the staff was completely unaccommodating.

I even explained to the Cove Spa in person that it was our wedding anniversary, that we were willing to book any type of service, and that we really wanted to enjoy the soak inside the Cove. The response? ā€œYou can use the hot tub outside.ā€ The hot tub outside was full of kids yelling and playing Marco Polo—not exactly the romantic experience we were hoping for.

The lack of communication between the lodge and the spa, combined with the indifference of the staff, completely ruined what should have been a special celebration. I get the vibe that no one on the property cares about your experience. The staff seemed complacent and uninterested in the success or profitability of the business. For the price and reputation, I expected so much more. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a relaxing or special...

HORRIBLE customer service. I have $300 in gift cards I’ve been trying to use for the last 2 years. Had previously been turned away when I tried to schedule a massage because I was not staying at the resort and there weren’t any last minute openings per their scheduling rules. So, my husband and I decided to book a 2 night stay at the shore lodge so we could enjoy the spa with our gift cards. I tried to schedule a spa appointment well in advance, but I was told they only schedule 6 weeks out. So I called the spa exactly 6 weeks to the day that we will be staying at the lodge, but no answer. I left a message, but no return call. I called back a few hours later and someone answered. She acknowledged she received my voicemail, but said they are not booking appointments at the spa on the dates we are staying because they have it reserved for a large group. I expressed my frustration because that meant they reserved this ahead of the 6 week time frame that guests are told they can book. I was offered to be put on a cancelation list, however I decided to cancel my stay at the lodge because the whole point of staying there was for the spa. My husband and I booked this trip months ago and we are so bummed out. My husband left a message for the spa manager, but (shocking) no return call. I feel like if you don’t have big money then you...

If I could give a zero I would. My fiance and I scheduled a 2 night stay at the shore lodge and also Scheduled a couples massage at the cove. I requested two female massage therapists and was told that was fine. Ended up getting two males. My fiance ended up receiving a very painful deep tissue massage (which we didn't ask for nor was it ever mentioned that he would be receiving that treatment). The staff at the front desk never apologized when this was brought to their attention and they even had the audacity to say that I was wrong and asked for the deep tissue! Later after checking my credit card statement, I noticed that I was charged extra for day passes to the cove. Again, we only visited the cove on the day we received massages ( immersion pools are included with massage purchase for that day). I was told that I asked for additional day passes and was refused a refund. This was the most frustrating situation I've ever had to deal with in regards to a spa treatment. I have no reason to lie about the services we requested or received. I will never visit the cove again and will be sure to spread the word to friends and family about how bad of a ...
