This corporation has a tricky selling model. Shop carefully and pay attention to the pricing details no matter which one of their stores you go to. They buy out other entities when they close or have extreme overstock and when they price things for the shelf now re-available to the consumer they will say "their price is $14.99" for instance but this price is the most extreme price on the market at it's most expensive. Typically will be the suggested retail price provided by the retailer they bought out. Then Ollie's will put a much lower price and claim it as "our price" which will give you the expectation that you are getting a really good deal. Unfortunately this "our price" is more often then not more then retail at Wal Mart or other competitors stores. Very often you will encounter food that is expired by many months as well as items that have been refurbished by a third party with only a 30 day warranty and only 10-15% cheaper then Wal Mart for BRAND NEW with the standard manufacturers warranty of a year or more. Ollie's price is not that cheap when you take in all the factors. Some things are much cheaper but many others not the case at all. Dont be fooled by the slogan "Good Stuff Cheap" you will be hard pressed to find an item in their stores that matches this slogan. They may put themselves in legal trouble if someone argues intentionally misleading their customers or falsifying their adverts from a matching in...
Read moreAlways interesting to see what new products and living essentials that they get in. I love the selection of canine 🐕 supplies. It changes a lot, so if you find one of your favorites, grab some extra if you got the cash. It might not be there the next time you go in. Looks like they have a pretty good selection for the feline 🐈 lovers too. It gets a little jammed up when the employees are bringing out new supplies. They just plop pallets right in the middle of the main aisles. You have to detour here and there, but it's worth it to stop in. They are bound to have something that you use at a better price. Not always cheaper, but fun ingand accessories check out and grab a free coffee while you're there. It's a pretty hard place to leave without buying something. All kinds of housewares, including rug, furniture, pots and pans, utensils, food, books, flooring, personal hygiene products, auto cleaning and accessories, outdoor stuff and I'm sure a lot more that I didn't mention. Check it out, I'm sure you'll be happy...
Read moreThis location is comparable to the Ollies in Uniontown, PA. There is a large selection of hodge podge things but unless you are familiar with Ollies offerings (books, cooking ware, office furniture, housewares, snacks, limited gourmet food items) and looking for something specific, it definitely is not worth driving all out of the way to get there. Not everything is a great deal there. You really have to look at the prices tags. I would shop there for pots, cooking ware, bathroom mats, red quinoa, and spices. It kind of reminds me of Big Lots. However, the cashier asked everyone in line before me and after me if they had an "Ollies Reward Card" except me and took a very long time to check me out. Not sure why, when I asked him about it he told me they probably have it...
