The ladies at the leasing office have been very nice and helpful each time I have called or walked into their office. The units themselves are comfy. They look excellent and have few things for me to complain about, except for the very thin walls. When I'm laying in bed I can hear my neighbor on the other side of my bedroom wall talking, in a moderate tone, on the phone. There's not much privacy. I can hear the toilet flushing and shower running in the unit above mine. Below my unit is a garage and I am fortunate enough to have a young man with a sports car occupying it. He revs that thing all day and night which literally makes my entire apartment SHAKE! I guess the floors are thin as well. It wakes me up late at night and early in the morning when he comes and goes....makes me want to scream.
There is also a rent subsidized complex backed up against Raleigh House. The residents there are atrocious to live next to. They park in what little parking Raleigh House has to offer and throw their garbage on the ground in front of the dumpster so I have to walk through a garden of trash to throw mine away. They like to have screaming matches, swim in the Raleigh House pool, and walk their huge dogs without leashes through the grassy courtyard because their complex is all concrete. One Saturday morning their fire alarm went off at 4am and woke me up. The fire alarm stayed on for a couple of hours before management or whoever over there addressed the issue.
What has made me truly come to hate living at Raleigh House is the parking problem. After above 5pm there is no absolutely no parking. I work the evening shift and when I get home at 11pm there is no where for me to park. I have to circle around a couple times and hope to find a spot. On many occasions I have had to park on the other side of the complex and walk a good distance in the dark. When I can't find a space within a reasonably safe walking distance, I drive to my mothers house and spend the night there. It gets that bad sometimes. There's never any space for any guests you'll want to have. Even in the middle of the day there's tons of cars in the parking lot. No one goes to work. There's not even detached garages or assigned parking for rent. IT'S A FREE FOR ALL! There are only four detached garages per BUILDING unless your lucky enough to have a unit with an attached garage. And those few luck ones keep junk in their garages and park their car in the lot, not in front of their garage, but in the parking lot.
The apartments themselves really are nice and management is wonderful, but there is too much going on in my neck of the woods. I knew in my second month of living here that I was not going to renew. I have two months left in my lease and I am...
Read moreUpon move in, I thought this place was a dream come true. The apartments look so nice, they staff was incredible, and they even came in and did a second cleaning the day I moved in. When I moved into building 9, I was one of the only people in the building. It was very quiet, great parking, and a great location. Now that more people live here, there is rarely parking, and they are implementing this new parking thing with next to no guest parking to fix the issue, but in doing so have now made it to where it is near impossible to have guests at all since there is no parking,. Guess you should pick up anyone you want to be able to come over going forward. The walls are paper thin. I can even here is someone coughs. Therefore, there is no privacy at all. I am on the third floor and the noise is horrible. People having screaming matches outside, drug deals gone wrong, you name it, I have heard it and my four year old has been woken up many times. The weekends are the worse with parties at all hours of the night and loud music and drunk people fighting. One morning, I had to remove beer bottles from my car so I could leave, and those same drunk people drive home when they are done, which explains the dings in my car. All the complexes that are literally in the same parking lot as ours, their people flood our complex, pool, gym, and more. The smell of weed is unreal. It is so bad that half the time my own home reeks of it. There are constantly police in the complex with flash lights walking around looking for whatever and driving through. It is great when they wonder the halls of the buildings and through the complex. Makes you feel very safe that they have to be there, and often... NOT! Then the icing on the cake, I tried to add my fiance to the lease, wasn't an option, but could make him an occupant, but then they denied that for a misdemeanor he had one month shy of ten years ago. Oh yes, the man with the steady job with his degree and a family is dangerous and not allowed to live there, but the place has cops everywhere and stinks like drugs all the time. Makes total sense. Words cannot even describe the amount of distaste I have and frustration being here. I moved in Feb. 2017, and trust me Feb. 2018 cannot come fast...

I tend to give updated reviews, whether good or bad, throughout my journey of living in an apartment therefore if I'm upset the good wont be watered down by the bad that I'm experiencing at that very moment.
I seen the apartment in passing because it is a beautiful location and I'm a true country girl at heart (the horse statue caught my eye). When going in for information I was not that ecstatic about it because I thought that it would be overly priced like many apartments in the area. To my surprise, for the amount of space you get the apartments are wonderfully priced. Katy.. Kathy... (Something to that tune...sorry forgot her name) was VERY helpful. In passing conversation I told her I liked water and she was thoughtful enough to book me in an apartment that's close to the pool. I thought that was the sweetest gesture ever. In addition to that I love a lot of natural sunlight and she picked out the perfect floor plan to allow e to have that. The application process was VERY EASY ! E-V-E-R-Y personnel in the office was nice and cared. I am I really controlling person who likes my hands in everything so I came to the apartment many times on different days, I called a lot, and even emailed. I asked many questions, some where questioning them because I thought the information I had was incorrect and wanted to be sure, and no one ever got frustrated which is commendable. I am not the type of person you can tell something and I not ask questions about it. In addition to that, since most apartments are brand new, they let me see my actual apartment that I am moving into which made me happy and something that they didn't have to do.
I have read other reviews about loud music in cars, which I don't mind, ...Let people live a little ! So we shall see if its horrible enough to bother me at a later date but I doubt it. I am happy with my decision so far and ready to see everyone on tomorrow. I have applied to more than enough apartments and by far this was the easiest process I have ever been through. I appreciate you guys for making the experience...
