Amazing experience with gourmet donuts. Top notch quality and great taste at a reasonable pricing (just for donuts tho). As for the coffee, I was surprised that a place with great donuts selection would have great coffee taste too, as this is usually not the case to combine both qualities but Parlor Doughnuts has nailed it. Coffee is a little bit on the pricey side especially that the customization service post-pouring is lackluster. Service was great and well deserved 5-stars. Now to the reason why I gave 4 stars and not 5, I have found a big room for improvement in those two areas: 1- Food is very subpar and overpriced. Don’t be surprised if I say a frozen sandwich from Starbucks beats anything on the food menu here. Moreover, the turning time was a bit longer than expected for a spinach pesto sandwich (that had absolutely no spinach in it lol) 2- The ambiance was underwhelming as there was a whole lot of emptiness that gave an impression of an unfinished interior decoration. There could be a better music, signage and branding to upgrade the whole experience. Wow. Delicious. I love the donut mixed with croissant texture. Delightful in the mouth. Very high calorie of course. Very sweet. Well I guess that depends on who's eating it and what their preferred sweetness level is. We got multiple and shared bites of each. The caramel bliss and caramel bourbon are quite sweet but not overly in my opinion. The lemon, peanut butter and turtle are less sweet tasting. UPDATED I came in around 130 on a Saturday and selection was less than expected because of the time a day I'm sure. I noticed there was a sign that says if you don't see what you're looking for ask us to make it and that the wait won't be that long but when I inquired about it, the lady said 20 minutes. Now I don't know if that's their typical wait time for some doughnuts, but to me that's too long. Finally got the chance to visit and was not disappointed! First experienced Parlor donuts in Destin Florida so as soon as I realized there was one in my own back yard I was so excited! These donuts are honestly the only ones besides fresh glazed from the privately owned shops that I like. They’re flakey, have that slightly crunchy layer of a croissant on the outside, but wonderful layers on the inside, and the toppings bring it all together. My husband got the strawberry shortcake and I got the turtle cheesecake. Both perfectly lived up to their name and photo. I skipped dinner to have these for dessert after lunch and regret nothing. Also the staff are really nice, welcoming, and immediately greet you and ensure you know your options. There’s also plenty of seating area and cute merch you can buy as well.
