Update: • Make sure that you check the price on the items that you are having installed! • Do as much research on your vehicle and for whatever you are having done to it as you can. You need to be knowledgeable about what you’re having done and what they’re actually supposed to be doing to your vehicle and the products that they’re selling you. (Always check the products and description before you leave, we’ve paid for RockFord Fosgate P3’s and got P1’s. They also didn’t include the protective screens that come in the box with the subs and tried to charge me for them) • I recommend that you don’t have anything done the day you get your quote... set an appointment for your install ask for your quote Make sure that you contact the company that is supposed to be fronting the loan and explain to them everything that they are charging you for and if they included the labor and anything other than the products that you purchased to be installed. Also ask them if they believe that they’re giving you a fair quote and if not what do they believe the loan should say. (RUN and go somewhere else) *I know having the other things on the loan makes it convenient but it’s not supposed to be included and they’re charging you an astronomical amount of money for it. If you save that money and pay it on the install day you’ll be able to get better quality or more items for your vehicle. • ALWAYS make sure that you demand they show you everything they did including the small stuff but most importantly look at the the wiring, ALL of the wiring! Ask them to show you where they grounded the amp and where they connected the stereo ground and power wires! They should NOT be connected to the steering wheel, windshield washer switch, or the Air conditioner. (Like I said, know your stuff!!) Seriously even if it means they take you back to show you before they close everything up. Make them show you and give you all of your factory items back.
I now do all of my own audio installs and tint my own windows after they grounded the radio and amp incorrectly frying the entire computer system in the truck and shorting out the electronic brake system making the truck inoperable. Fords that have Sync must have a special adapter I order for your vehicle to still be able to communicate with itself. It’s a very Sophisticated computer system. Our insurance company totaled his truck and wouldn’t pay for the damages because it was considered vandalism and we knew who did it. (I still don’t understand that one)
Now here’s another example of their incompetence and dishonesty... I was working a lot of hours and just didn’t have time to do the install on my truck and I just figured that while I was doing that I would have them update the headlights on my 2016 Ford Fusion Titanium, might I add that it was a Hybrid as well. BAD idea!! They all of broke the bumper tabs that connected the bumper to the driver side fender and used double sided sticky tape to make it look like nothing was wrong. On the way home my air conditioning was going crazy and consistently kept turning on the heat and turned it all the way up. I had to hold the off button down most of the ride home. Once I got there and get out I see my bumper has disconnected from the fender. I’m really really wondering what the heck is going on! Long story short not only did they brake the tabs but they also broke the A/C sensor that connects to the bumper to tell the vehicle what the temperature is outside so it knows what the temperature should be inside the vehicle. They also didn’t put the engine protector back on underneath the car and it was missing 12 screws. Had I not been in a minor accident the insurance company would not have paid for those damages either.
Do your research but I don’t recommend going there. Which is sad because I really respected and trusted Sharif. I honestly thought we were good friends and if they do that to so called friends what do you think they’ll do for people...

I took my BRAND NEW 2015 Corolla to 901 sounds last week to get my windows tinted. I decided to get 15% tint thinking that it would look good with my white car. The tint looked very good but it was entirely too dark. When I drove at night I could not see out my windows at all. So I decided to get my car redone with 35% (legal) tint.
The first tint job was done very well but it was too dark. Here's where my experience took a DRASTIC turn for the worse.
I took my car to 901 Sounds at 9am in Friday. I was told that there were 3 cars ahead of me. I waited there for hours. At 3 pm I ended up leaving and coming back at 7pm.
My car was obviously the last car because it was there till almost closing time. When I inspected my car, the employee showed me HUGE streak spots on the interior door panels on all four doors. He said he used soap and water to clean my doors but it dried and left blue streaks in my black interior. There were also dirt spots on the ceiling from where he installed the rear view window tint.
I was very upset because it looked horrible. Then I noticed that TWO of my windows had DEEP scratches in them. Not only that but the tint had scratches in all four windows.
I was very upset because I had only had the car one day and 901 Sounds ruined it. Then one of the young Hispanic employees was very rude and nonchalant stating that my windows were probably already scratched.
I wanted to talk to a manager so Sharif Ayesh came to see all the damage. He agreed to have my car detailed on Monday.
So I took it Monday to get it detailed. They cleaned up the doors ok but the ceiling was still dirty.
Sharif also agreed to replace the ONE window with the deeper scratch. The other window had a surface scratch but it's not really noticeable. It just makes me mad because it was a brand new car.
I negotiated with Sharif and he refunded me $218 the cost of the tint job but not the $100 cost to remove the first, darker tint.
I do NOT recommend getting your car tinted here. The one tint guy they have rushed to get my car done and made numerous mistakes and damaged my car.
The ONLY reason I give this place one star is because of the professionalism of the manager Sharif when he handled the problem.
Although I am still upset that Sharif did not replace BOTH scratched windows. I feel that his business damaged my car so the business should have fixed BOTH windows.
The only reason I did not press the issue further was that I wanted to be done with this "business establishment" and I wanted to avoid the process of lawsuit because Sharif was so professional and I wanted to expedite the process of getting my car fixed.
I was at 901 Sounds for hours and no rental car was offered to me as I waited for them to fix THEIR mistakes.
I would avoid this place at all costs. Find a professional business to get your windows tinted. Their better business bureau license was revoked but I should have checked it beforehand. That's my mistake but please do not make my...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible place to try and get a car system installed. You would think a place that strictly does car audio, tint, alarms and other accessories they would have their stuff together, but unfortunately that is not the case. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.
I will say one positive thing is the salesman Kevin is nice enough, but the way he schedules appointments is so backwards. If Kevin tells you to come in at 9 a.m. just know he really means it will be 10 a.m. At least that's what happened in my situation. I was told be there at 9 a.m. and that I'll be the first one in line. So I arrived early at 8:55 a.m. and gave them my keys and waited and waited and waited. By 9:45 am, I'm still sitting up front and my truck has not moved an inch from the spot I parked initially when arriving. When I asked Kevin he stated that "most" people show up late so they ask everyone to get their earlier and that the installer actually doesn't arrive until 10 a.m. So, your telling me I just wasted an hour of MY time because "most" people are late. Well, in this case I'm ALWAYS on time and I don't appreciate having my time wasted. Maybe for future reference tell your customers to arrive at 9:45, as that seems a hell of a lot more reasonable. So, after learning Kevin likes to waste people's time, I canceled my appointment and used my initial deposit I had to put down to purchase the overpriced subwoofer and box.
I was able to make an appointment the very next day at Best Buy in Southaven. My appointment there was at 3 pm and guess what I got there at 2:45 like instructed and they immediately started working on my truck. Sorry for the long review, but I feel it's necessary to make people aware of how they conduct business here.
Oh and by the way this place is not black owned. Just ask Pops the owner. And there prices are absolutely insane. The same Pioneer radio at Best Buy that was $380 was priced at $800 at 901 Sounds. When I pointed out this information to Kevin he said he doesn't control the prices and he just sells stuff. Ok, well maybe tell Pops to get a grip and that most people have smartphones with the ability to research prices on the spot. Just ridiculous!! You all reading this have been warned. Do your own research people and I would avoid this place...
