I would have given 5 stars, but the director of this non profit organization is very rude, and unsympathetic, to the clients situations. Nor did he even try to keep matters of the client private, as each individuals circumstances are their own and of a personal nature. I fail to see how it is anyone else's business what needs to be discussed in a clients file. He could have respected that needing to be there for their services is likely hard enough on people and not stripped them of what dignity that may have existed b4 entering the doors of the facility. Read moreI have gone to the Peace Pantry for food and i’ve also been shopping at their thrift store for a few years now. They are one of the few places left that truly is about giving their community GREAT deals and giving help to those who need it. I’m a young person trying my hardest to make it on my own as an adult and I owe the Peace Pantry and all of their caring, wonderful volunteers a huge thank you for helping me out so much. Read moreI used to really enjoy it there. Emily and the beautiful person she I s keeps me coming back even after the change in (ownership)? The prices became ridiculous and the over all attitude in b the place is not what it used to be. Even products that say not for resale are being sold instead of donated. Prices may be cheaper than retail stores but the women's products Especially are close to the same price as the retailers. Maybe greed won't be the only motivation for the place.
