If there was a rating for less than one star, I would give this place.
I am veteran recovering from multiple injuries and started to go to this place and use Exos athletic training program that Inova had. The program was an awesome program for athletes, college & high school athletes, as well as adults recovering from injuries or just wanted to live a healthier life. Exos provided all of that.
Now, few months ago for god know why????? The hospital decided to cancel Exos contract after little over 5 years and told all of us who use the program that they have a better or similar program that going to start after Exos contract ends, that was supposed to be on June 1st.
Inova is all about promoting Health and welfare, healthy living, and contributing to the community. Yet, the cancel a contract that benefited all athletes and local residents who wanted to be healthier.
I wish someone at the decision making level look into this and investigate why Inova failed it’s clients? Was this decision because someone just got promoted and wanted to “make change???” It’s terrible to say the least!
Bring Exos back it was...
Read moreMy father suffered a heart attack and a stroke 2 years ago while working in Virginia. He spent almost a month at INOVA, first at the Neurology wing, then at Cardiology. The doctors and, most of all, the nurses were AMAZING. Not only were they great with my dad, but they were also very accommodating, sympathetic and considering with us, the family. We live far from the hospital in MD and spent days and nights there with him and everyone was super nice to us. They also offer amazing after-care at their clinics for when you're discharged. It was a terrible moment for our family, but I'm glad that it happened where it did, because otherwise he wouldn't have ended up in this hospital, and him being treated there was a blessing. Our family is forever grateful to all the nurses and...
Read moreWonderful Doctors and nurses. Literally helped save my life recently. The care and dedication in intensive care is second to NONE! However, when you are transferred out of ICU and waiting to be released, there are quite a few B squad nurses that need to be in another career field. Their customer service and compassion for patients' recovery is as much physical as it is mental. Failure at this stage of care has horrible consequences.
Paying to park at a hospital is a sin.
INOVA, I give you 10's of thousands of dollars in donations. Please understand how important seeing your loved ones is to a patient's recovery! It made me realize life truly was worth living.
I hope I was able to help at least one person, it all starts with one. Thank you for your time. Very...
