Most of the time I get exceptional service here. But lately the service and quality of the product has declined. I have been going to the deli for years and yesterday I ordered a pulled pork sandwich. The lady who made my sandwich was new but had been there for several months. She took my pulled pork sandwich and pressed it in a panini press and passed me this sandwich that was soggy and inedible. I told her that this is the incorrect way to prepare the sandwich and if she just gave me the proper bread I would switch the sandwich on to the new bread. She refused to fix my sandwich correctly and then the young Korean gentleman (who happens to be the owners son) at the register came over and said this is "her special way" to make the sandwich. He was very rude and said even though you have been coming here for years she is new... this is how she fixes it and walked away. I was very upset and I had never experienced such horrible customer service or such horrible food preparation EVER! This will definitely change my patronage to this Deli and even though Panera is a further walk away I would rather walk over where I can receive consistent food products and good customer service. What should have initially happened was that the food should have just been prepared correctly and the owner's son should not have argued down a patron. Your response blames the worker for a mistake that could have easily been corrected... What is the explanation for the son of the owner of the deli having such a rude...
