Pam is amazing! When I sat down in her seat, I had an okay cut along with a boxed, home color that I had applied in July. When I left, I had an absolutely beautiful cut and color that I love. It was evident in the consultation that she truly cares and is very knowledgeable. She added highlights, and then, went back to weave in a darker color that perfectly complimented the highlights. She is an artist and I couldn't be happier! The salon has a welcoming atmosphere and is very clean and comfortable. After four years, I have finally found my stylist!

Update: 2 years later and I stand by this review. Pam is incredibly knowledgeable and helps to guide me to get the desired outcome. I always love the cut and color. Also, my 10 year old daughter just loves her and is so thrilled with how Pam listens to her and brings her vision to life. Pam even took the time to teach her how to style her hair. That little girl was walking on clouds when we left, which says a lot because she was hesitant to have her hair even trimmed at her first visit a few months ago. I've been going to Avare Salon for several years now. The owner, Pam Blackmon is my "go to" stylist. In a pinch, I have used another stylist and was pleased with the outcome. But usually, I stick with Pam. She listens and asks questions so she can make educated suggestions on what would look good on you. Although I will continue to frequent this salon because the best nail tech in Arizona is there, I was disappointed on sat, 09-may, to see only myself and my technician wearing masks.
