I’ve been a regular customer at the Smoothie King on Crismon Road for quite some time—mainly because it’s right across the street from my house, and I’ve tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, my patience has run out.
Despite coming in often and being very clear about their own promotions—like how the third booster is supposed to be free—they almost never honor it. I’m constantly getting charged for that third booster and having to remind them to fix it. On top of that, they once offered me a free child’s smoothie but ended up charging me for it anyway and then told me they couldn’t refund it. They gave me some coupons as a consolation, but it just feels like a recurring pattern of not applying their own discounts unless I push for it.
To make matters worse, today I showed up just a minute before closing—at 5:59 p.m.—and they basically turned me away even though they weren’t officially closed yet. I get it—no one wants a last-minute customer—but the lack of flexibility just added to all the frustration.
Overall, the smoothies themselves can be okay, though the consistency varies from visit to visit. But the repeated issues with honoring their own deals and just the overall lack of customer service has really worn me down. I’m finally leaving this review because I’ve just had enough. It’s disappointing, especially for a place I’ve tried to support regularly. I don’t recommend this location at all. It feels like at this point they’re deliberately offering discounts and not applying them. The only thing consistent I’ve received at this location is terrible customer service and some bamboozling smoke show...
Read moreThe store is very clean. The smoothies are as good as they are anywhere at the other locations. Consistent. However, they are running a special right now where, if you buy a 20-ounce smoothie or larger, or a smoothie bowl, you get a free 12-ounce smoothie for kids. The staff do not mention this special, but it is on a board on the opposite wall of the counter and menu. You have to turn around and face the wall to see it. After our purchases, which included a 20-ounce smoothie, I happen to see the board and asked the staff member about it. The staff member informed me that I had to mention it at that time of the order, and accordingly, could not make us the free smoothie that was offered. Sorry, but that is really bad customer service. The offer posted mentions nothing about the customer having to mention it at the time of sale. I brought it up to the staff member within seconds of making my purchase and turning around to sit on one of these stools and saw the board. The staff member also failed to mention that we could have upsized our drink for free. We spend a lot of money at this location with our large family. With the 80+ million people who read my Google Maps reviews, I am hoping that someone from management reaches out. I can afford a smoothie for my kid. That is not the issue. A posted offer is a post-offer. If it has to be mentioned at the time of sale, like you will see sometimes with other posted offers, then it needs to be a part of...
Read moreI am writing to express my complete disappointment and frustration with my recent visit. I was honestly shocked by the unprofessionalism I experienced. as soon as I walked in, there was a very strong and overwhelming smell of marijuana throughout the dining area. It was absolutely disgusting and completely inappropriate for a family-friendly dining environment. On top of that, the service was beyond horrible. The staff was extremely rude, unwelcoming, and downright mean. It felt like we were bothering them just by being there. Our server had a nasty attitude, barely spoke to us, and acted like we were an inconvenience. There was no sense of hospitality, no friendliness, and zero professionalism. This was hands down one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. Between the overpowering smell of marijuana and the unacceptable behavior of the staff, I will absolutely not be returning — and I’ll be warning others about this...
