I donāt like to be too harsh in a review, I love happy stories with happy endings. This review isnāt that. Letās start with the sauce because without a great sauce you canāt have great pasta. This sauce is so bad. Bland. Without salt or seasoning. Paste like consistency. No one in my group of five that I ate with liked the flavor. Canned, processed, chef boyardee pasta with sauce is sadly superior.
The sauce is poured over the top of the pasta and not mixed in with the noodles so the bottom of the bucket had some of the pasta water and pasta congealed at the bottom.
The cheesy bread is good, not great. Again, a lack of seasoning for my taste.
I really hope they make some changes. Itās an interesting concept and food offering.
I think a different name wouldnāt hurt. By the bucket only makes me think of chicken.
This is a place to avoid, but not to leave without something positive: the woman working the day I picked my bucket up was really pleasant and wonderful with customer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently visited "By The Bucket" and had the pleasure of trying their spaghetti and garlic bread. I have to say, it was one of the best meals I've had in a while!
The spaghetti was cooked to perfection, with the noodles being just the right texture and not too soft or too hard. The sauce was flavorful and not too heavy, which allowed the noodles to shine through.
The garlic bread was also fantastic - it had just the right amount of garlic and butter, and was perfectly toasted to create a crispy exterior while still remaining soft and fluffy on the inside. It melted in my mouth and complemented the spaghetti perfectly.
The portions were also very generous, making it a filling and satisfying meal. The service was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
Overall, I highly recommend "By The Bucket" for anyone looking for delicious spaghetti and garlic bread. They certainly know how to create a fantastic Italian meal, and I'll definitely be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreGreat food, bad service day they had. The middle age woman with her hair in a bun treated the DoorDash guy who came in like trash. He was just doing his job and repeating the request of the customer and that snap back was unprofessional and uncalled for. That is the kind of attitude that will make me visit another location moving forward. Nobody wants to be treated poorly when they are just trying to do their job and earn a check. The poor guy was obviously neurodivergent and that triggered a really uncomfortable moment for him.
Edit: I realize that staff member may have just been having a bad or off day. I don't think that's her usual self. We've all had today days but if we remind ourselves about how we all want to be treated, we may not find ourselves treating others in a...
