My experience may have been different if I had gone through the drive-through. Most coffee places prioritize, the drive-through, but this one is extreme. I ordered a brewed coffee and a water. The person took my order, left the front and made three to go orders before coming back and greeting the next people in line. There were four employees I could see so I don’t think they were short staffed. The coffee was hastily placed on the counter by another employee, who disappeared immediately to the back (a fifth employee). The coffee was made wrong but the employee who tossed it on the counter disappeared and the lady taking the orders didn’t seem to care, so I just went ahead and drank it. You are supposed to get your own water from a water dispenser. When I went over, it was crusted and disgusting. If this is what they let you see, who knows what it looks like in the back. The water comes out warm and no option for ice. The music was playing so loud that a few people inside seemed like they were having a hard time with a regular conversation. When I asked employee to turn down the volume a little, she said she had no control over the volume and that was just too bad. I definitely felt like I was a second class citizen because I decided to get out of my car and wanted to enjoy the coffee shop instead of using the drive-through. Last Saturday we ordered our drinks, the person at the window repeated it back to us correctly, when we got home the drinks were wrong. We checked the writing on top and indeed it was wrong, I had to drive all the way back, they fixed it but it was a huge waste of my time and gas. This morning my girlfriend went there before work, the same issue happened… unfortunately that drink got thrown away cause she was not able to go back. I called the store… the number does not work, there is no way to get ahold of anyone!! I reached out to corporate left a message for them, an online message is the only way of getting ahold of them also. It is really sad and pathetic that it is so hard to get ahold of anyone. They have wasted my time and gas trying to resolve this issue. Today's choice does not disappoint. Located on the corner of a strip mall, there is plenty of outdoor seating as well as indoor space.
The place has high energy, and a very upbeat vibe. The baristas were very cheerful and helpful with our coffee drinks.
They have a motto here called "FUEL YOUR STORY." After all, isn't that one of the beautiful things about caffeine? That it not only energizes but gives you fuel and confidence to face your day?
We opted to have a couple of espresso drinks. The espresso is a very balanced roast, and is not burnt or charcoal flavored at all.
Would I recommend this place? Yes, definitely. Would I come back next time I'm in the area? Yes!
