I’ve been visiting Go 4 Games for over a year now but I finally wanted to leave the 5-star review it deserves. From their impressive collection of board games to their selection of Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder books and miniatures, this store truly caters to the gaming community's needs. Firstly, let's talk about their board game selection. Go 4 Games offers a wide range of options, including one of my favorite games "Happy Little Dinosaurs." Whether you are a casual gamer or a dedicated board game enthusiast, you are bound to find something that peaks your interest. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful, guiding you through their vast inventory and making recommendations tailored to your preferences. Beyond board games, Go 4 Games is a treasure trove for D&D and Pathfinder enthusiasts. Their collection of books and miniatures is extensive, catering to players of all skill levels. Whether you're new to the realm of tabletop role-playing games or a seasoned adventurer, you'll find exactly what you're looking for here. Their staff is not only well-versed in these games but are also passionate about them, which makes for a superb shopping experience. One of the standout features of Go 4 Games is their exceptional gaming space. They have a common gaming area with multiple tables but my favorite part is the private gaming room. The private room is perfect for hosting game nights or enjoying a quiet, uninterrupted gaming session with friends. The gaming space is clean, well-maintained, and provides a comfortable environment that make it an excellent place to enjoy a game or RPG night with friends. Overall, Go 4 Games deserves every bit of this 5-star review. Their commitment to providing an extensive selection of board games, D&D and Pathfinder products, along with their exceptional gaming space and friendly staff, sets them apart from the rest. Whether you're a new gamer exploring the world of tabletop or a seasoned veteran, Go 4 Games is the ultimate destination for all your gaming needs. I cannot recommend this...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Go 4 Games, and I can't express enough how grateful I am for the incredible experience I had. As someone completely new to trading card games (TCGs), I was admittedly nervous about diving into Disney Loracna. I had never played a TCG before, and the fear of asking too many questions and being judged was real.
However, from the moment I walked into Go 4 Games, my anxiety began to dissipate. The staff there not only welcomed me with open arms but also took the time to patiently explain every aspect of the game. Their kindness and willingness to teach a newcomer like me was truly heartwarming. It made me realize that genuine humanity and kindness still exist.
What was even more remarkable was the incredible community of players at Go 4 Games. They were not only skilled but also incredibly friendly and eager to share their knowledge. It didn't matter that I was a beginner; they made me feel like I belonged and encouraged my learning journey.
I cannot emphasize enough how exceptional Go 4 Games is. They didn't just teach me a game; they made me feel like a valued part of their community. To everyone at Go 4 Games (Mac, Chris, Kell, Josh), thank you for your patience, warmth, and for making this girl feel so welcome. My first TCG experience couldn't have been any better, thanks to all of you.
A note to Chris, thank you for sharing your Pixie Dust when I lost...
Read moreI am a long term denizen of another local shop who entirely lost my business today and lead me here(some very sad and blatantly rude behavior lead to this at the other shop). I understand modernization, but this doesn't mean customer service needs to die off with automation. I come to the shop to spend money and I enjoy browsing especially somewhere I've been going for nearly 10 years. I'm one of those die-hard loyal to my little shops kind of customer where I pick my place and they have all my patronage.
I entered and despite a large tournament going the shop is clean(no hint of the typical funk associated with some shops), organized and well lit with polite and courteous staff(Mutt) greeting customers as they enter. He did inform me he could help me search manually or I could use the kiosk. I opted for a bit of both. He made the experience wonderful with friendly chit chat. I'm fine with using a kiosk and he invited me to indulge in dnd on Monday and informed me of how to order cards and look at their calender online and in store.
Also for female gamers there was a female staff member and I was not oogled or harassed/tripped after by other patrons. Overall lovely experience that made me go home and order nearly another 100 cards via their website and plan to go to dnd night. As well as weekly...
