I was coming in for some Christmas candy on 12-18-2023 at about 1:55pm. The front door was propped open. An older lady walked in and got a very friendly good afternoon and welcome greeting. I walked in 10 steps behind her got looked at, and ignored. I thought that was a little rude but no matter. I picked up a few items and headed to the register. The cashier didn't acknowledge my existence. She was writing up some gift certificates for the lady. The lady said she was going to shop a bit while she was writing them up and walked off. The cashier finished writing the certificates, stuffing them in envelopes, and as the lady was still shopping didn't say, "let me ring you up while I'm waiting for her", or even "I'll be with you in a minute!" She just stood there looking away, ignoring me not even acknowledging I was there. I put my stuff down and walked out. I'll never shop there again after such rudeness...

about 10 minutes. Nice assortment and the store was very clean and organized. Went by the ice cream but nobody was over there to scoop so we walked by the candy, I asked where the Mississippi mud bark was and she looked a little confused. She pointed to where it was and walked away so we stood there for about 5 minutes waiting to get someone's attention to ask for something behind the counter and check out. I was hoping there was a sample of the Mississippi mud as the website stated there was and I've never had it. But I bought some to try, it was ok. This place was pretty expensive, looked like...

A friend recommended this candy store and I did not realize until going in that it the same store with locations in the FQ that you can watch them make fudge and pralines. I’ve been traveling to NOLA nearly every 2 weeks this year for eye appointments and my stop here has been my “treat” Everything is homemade and tastes delicious and fresh. My favorites are caramels, salted dark chocolate covered caramel, chocolate covered cherries, turtles, English toffee, bananas foster truffle, peanut butter cups, and fruit slices.
