Decent rest stop. It is small inside. The outside is beautiful and has nice scenery and picnick tables. There is plenty of rooms for your fur babies to enjoy with lots of shade. Inside you can speak with am attendant if you have questions and you will find plenty of information on things to do and see in IL. There are IL themed coloring books for the kids (or the adults, we can color too). The bathrooms could be cleaner and I wish there was paper towel to dry off your hands. They only have the hand air dryers... which are basically pointless because of all the germs that blow...

Nice enough rest stop, clean, picnic areas, play area for kids. Nothing extraordinary - just the basics but I'm rating it four stars because in comparison to many others it's clean and OPEN. Some rest areas have more amenities and employees around that make them feel a little safer, some even have night patrols. This one certainly ranks up there but not...
