I'd love to see better regular prices on some things such as 10 lb bag russet potatoes, and milk is ridiculously high, it's as if I'm in Tennessee shopping instead of Missouri. I love the ad specials and am grateful for the helpful, courteous employees who help me (I'm disabled). I really appreciate how many electric shopping carts there are in case it is busy there, most stores this size don't care to accommodate the ADA but Moser's in Mexico is awesome. Dave Pinkerton especially is an excellent employee a kind soul and fast. People on fixed incomes need little lower regular prices such as the deli salad bar, is extremely high. I adore this store on cleanliness, organization, layout, yet the registers are a little tight together, when in electric cart, it can be difficult if you're a bad driver like me haha those things need to slow down a little it would help. I also like the marketing set up. Dollar aisle is awesome, please don't change it. Produce is ok. Love the meat department. Thanks for caring about customer service, it's a lost art. Edited to add we've been through a lot over the past two years, they have so much turn over I pray nothing happens to this store, I love having it near enough to my home, some of their sales are really great and meat department quality and customer service is above and beyond and since I first reviewed, the produce, is much better, culling is obviously more regular, because the last bag of potatoes I bought I barely even had to peel, that means outof 10 lbs, I only lost 1 potato's worth of peel/flaws.....thanks to everyone who is working so hard, I know what it's like to work hard in customer service and not get appreciation or to not feel appreciated because of the conditions or doing up to 5 persons' jobs. Please...
Read moreThis place literally has absolutely nothing in it. The product choices are so slim, I've seen more variety at Dollar General. Perhaps it is just the location, but when they only have maybe two flavors of Oui yogurt, that's a problem. Their lack of variety makes it weird for them to be worried about people stealing constantly. I understand that they do not want people carrying things through the store, like a reusable shopping bag or a backpack (because only real shoppers carry purses 🙄)--even a rolling shopping cart looks highly suspicious outside of an open Fresh European Market. They act so elitist. It's almost like they believe that unless you have a car, you should not shop at their store. So, do not go into the store if you have to walk everywhere and you bring a rolling shopping cart to take your groceries home because they think you're going steal something--even if you have a wallet full of cash. And they will force you to keep it upfront (minus supervision).
I've taken to just walking with my shopping cart and putting it in a place where I know the shoppers they think are out to steal everything won't steal it--behind the cigarette counter where people buy stamps and send payments through Western Union. They seem fine with that--even if it makes people coming in think twice about wanting to shop there because of their accusatory shopping policies.
They must not make enough money for lack of product to hire security to stand by the door to make sure people show their receipts before they leave like they do at Walmart. No, they would rather inconvenient their shoppers. This is why I am so glad Walmart has delivery now because I am sick of being viewed as a thief--even when...
Read moreI started shopping at Moser's for two reasons: the meat department and the weekly sales. Now I have a third reason: the Moser's App! LOVE IT! It is the simplest shopping app I have ever used. I am terrible at technology, so I like to think the developers designed it just for me. I, especially, like how it lists all the digital coupons for you. You pick what you like and forget about it. When you check out they scan your phone and all the coupons that apply to your purchase are deducted. No hassles with clipping, sorting, carrying around, keeping track of, or just plain remembering you had a coupon for "that". I, also, like that they give you a "countdown" on your digital coupons so, if you were interested in using them, you know how many days you have before...
