This store brings back fond childhood memories. Growing up I lived within walking distance of this store and my grandmother would send me to the store to get her some spicy Georgia sausage. It's great to see the same staff members from when I was younger. Two women in particular have been there since I can remember. Whether they are family by blood or by association, it very oriented.
Since then I have frequented this place for collard greens and some of my favorite childhood snacks. There is only one other place that I go to for collard greens, so in a sense it depends on what area I'm in when I remember that I want some. I still live in the area so its easy for me to come here and grab somethings that I may need really quick.
I've never come here for meat outside of when I was younger but people come here and rack up so it must be of good quality. There was a lady in there tonight that was a restaurant owner and getting all her meat for week or so.

One of the meat cutter face mask was under their chin. And another was under there nose. And they felt this was ok. When checking out, the man that was checking me out, did not have on a mask at all. Even standing behind the petition. When I mention he didn't have on a mask. His reply was You have to wipe it down when You get home anyway. That was his valid reason for him not having a mask. And he stated that covid was not real. I think this business is taking black business for granted. Hope to find another...

I bought a case of chicken 2wks ago and 1 month ago. Never again this shows how they treat you in the black neighborhoods. I always past after I do work at my rentals.
