Edit: 1-30-25 I used to love going there. Everybody was pretty nice and friendly. recently, one of the employees there has been rude condescending and dismissive. The most recent thing was when I was buying a replacement item and trying to tell them of the issue I had with the first one I bought, that person seemed like they couldn’t care less, all they cared about was me completing my transaction. kind of sucks that you take a place and you really feel good about and now you walk in there and feel the one of the employees is just a straight up Richard-cranium. I should add that this isn’t a one-time thing with that employee, it has been that way for a while now with them.

Most of the people who know me know that I am one of the nicest guys in the world, friendly easy to talk to easy-going, so just imagine what it takes for me to leave a review like this?

New Info: That employee ambushed me in the store today telling me that if i didn't remove my review, i wasn't allowed to shop there any more. I explained what that employee did and why i left the review and they didn't care, even when i pointed out an issue prior to that, that i did not include with the review, they didn't care, and they tried to make out like I've acted bad in their store before and i haven't ever been anything but polite, jovial and friendly when I'm in there, I even stated that I've never been rude or anything else there, yet once again it was "remove it, or never come back". So, I'm sorry, i would have been happy to remove it if there had simply been a conversation and/or even a "I didn't mean to come across that way" but nope, not changing my perception and view especially under threat. This store has been family owned and a pillar to Cleves for over the 40+ years I can remember and they keep growing! They are always friendly and willing to help me find whatever crazy thing I need and if they don’t have it, they sometimes can come up with another solution for me. Large selection of nuts and bolts. 99% of the time they have what I need, sometimes I look for furniture hardware which many stores don’t have and I have to get online. Love supporting this...

Terrible service. Called and was told we could buy 3 skids and that they close at 2, told him we would be there at 2 or slightly after. Got there at 2:05. Was told we should have "had our shit together and go try lowes or home depot". Very rude and unprofessional. I had sent 4 trucks to this location.
