Had an appointment a week prior to have shocks and struts installed. Made the appointment specifically because the guy at the front desk said âwe are wide open all weekâ.
Made the appointment for right when they open. Got there early. Watched them open up. Then it beganâŚ
I watched no less that four vehicles come in for various things (the guy at the counter definitely told me about all the stuff they had to do) and get in and out.
Talked to him twice about my appointment and how he told me it would be done by early afternoon. He said âshocks and struts take a long time, thereâs nothing we can doâ.
You know what, heâs right. They do take a long time. They take even longer when the car sits in the parking lot for THREE HOURS waiting before they even start the work.
He proceeded to tell me that a guys truck has been waiting a week on parts that just came in today and how mine was âjust about nextâ.
Sat there for three hours, grabbed my keys and left. Found a place that would do it for just a little bit more, and you know what? They got it right in, charged just a shade over this placeâs labor price (I purchased my own shocks and struts) and were waiting for me when I got there.
The sign on their wall is fitting. If you donât mind wasting an entire day, sure drop your car off.
You might be limited on bay space and employees, but donât overpromise and deliver...

   Read moreI went to see why my vehicleâs engine light was on and I told them the moment I got there that I had 15 mins before I had to go for another obligation and said if they are busy right now, no problem, I can leave. They said theyâd take me. And then with 3 mins before I had to leave they took my car and said that I was NOT allowed to watch them which was suuuuper sketchy (I've never had a mechanic shop deny me from observing what they do).
