Middletown firearms has an incredible outdoor range. As a Marine Corps combat veteran, I've tried many ranges in the area and hands down this is the best experience. The knowledge of the range Instructors are above approach. With their combined knowledge and skill sets they run a very safe range. The individual courses are amazing, during those times you will learn a wealth of firearms knowledge. Even with my experience in handling firearms I'm always learning something new form the staff to better my skill set. If looking to purchase a weapon system, the staff in the shop as well, have a wealth of knowledge and experience. It's not just selling guns. They will take you through the variety of different weapons how they function and what's best for level. Never had purchased a firearm online and having to use a FFL, I listed these guys because they were right by my home. I made a great choice!

I called to ask what I should do next and they walked me through everything and said I would get a phone call when it is ready. Eager me, not having a call yet, goes by on a VERY busy Saturday morning to check in and ask if it was ready. They clearly had a lot of transfers to do and when I noticed I offered to come back later but the gentleman (guy with a goatee) was awesome enough to have me checked in while I wait so I didn’t have to make two trips. That little generosity goes a long way because I will now be a customer there for as long as I live here.

I’ve used these folks for a few things and they’ve always been great. Friendly and knowledgeable. I recommend their gunsmithing service as well.

The Middletown range is a hidden gem in the area. It’s a great facility with both a pistol range and a steel range with more to come from what I’ve been told. Jim does a great job of keeping the place up and running and it’s a joy to get out there whenever I can.

The classes are also great bang for the buck. Jim is an excellent instructor and every class I’ve take with him I have picked up a small nuance that further improves my shooting. If you have a chance to take any of the classes with Jim and the crew over at Middletown, you won’t be disappointed. Especially their red dot classes.
