Went out for a quick aimless bike ride and rode up on this Big Y. I've wanted a Rot Chic for the last few days and decided to see what was available on a Saturday evening. I'm sure they probably had hot ones somewhere, but all I found at this time were a couple cold ones at $5.99. Update(2weeks): Sunday evening, same story with the Rot Chic. I don't mind, they are still larger than Stop+Shop. Update(same week): It's now Friday, I finally found hot Rot Chic,(I still chose a cold one) but the price is now $9.99 !!! Back on Sat, a week later, price hasn't gone back down. Lose a Star. I've looked at more of the store now, seems ok. I hate food shopping, so I haven't done any kind of deep dive into price comparisons. Sugar is $0.30 cheaper than my usual store. I liked the tables outside. This is a neighborhood surrounded by "green" vs urban, so I bet it would be nice to sit out here and eat. I really appreciated the bike rack, not everywhere has these available. This was kind of far for me to visit regular, but I found a nice quiet street to bike ride here. Disappointed in the Rot Chic price increase, I'm going to try another store next time. And what's with the front doors wide open to the atmosphere? Letting out the cold air from the produce section and AC. What an enormous energy waste! Lose another star

Terrible shopping experience! The store proclaims loud and proud that it is “Your Family Market.” Yet, it does NOT provide a family or a gender friendly restroom. They have only two big bathrooms one for male and one female. When I took my young daughter to shop there this morning, she needed to access a restroom. Because the men’s room has multiple individuals there, I felt deeply uncomfortable with her using the men’s room. I also couldn’t take her to the women’s room. I asked if I could use the staff bathroom. None of the staffs I approached were willing to assist us. I’m not suggesting that all public facilities need to have a family room. For a supermarket, however, like Big Y that openly advertises itself as being “Your Family Market,” it needs to live up to the lofty slogan by providing essential services accessible to the needs of families. Using that family slogan is outrageously misleading. VERY DISAPPOINTING. If you plan to take your young kids there, please be prepared.

The produce was over priced and went rotten in 2 days, don't suggest getting produce here unless using that day, and prices seemed much higher then they revamped into the market thing. I liked much better before

I have come In here a couple times. I never been greeted . Just a “what can I getcha?” And keep it moving. I don’t mind that so it never bothered me. Today I stopped in on my way home from work to grab a couple things I needed for dinner and a quick late lunch since I was very busy . I grabbed what I needed and then went to the sandwich station. No one greeted me no one asked for help I’m trying to make eye contact with anyone and everyone just walking away or ignoring me. I noticed someone tell another team member that I was waiting for a sandwich , they looked over and never came to help. I was there for about ten minutes and then another customer came and the guy at pizza ( he made eye contact with me but kept paying attention to the girl he was working with instead ) I think his nametag was Matt jumped all over to help the guy …. Mind you I was there waitingso he didn’t even go in order which would love been me . I then thought whatever he didn’t see me I’ll just keep waiting but then decided that if these people can careless about me standing here trying to order something…. I’m going to careless about shopping here . Never will I come to big y ever any location. Plus I tried to do this on their website but couldn’t because I’m...
