My high mileage heavily modified 2007 BMW 335 had some serious oil leaking issues. I knew I needed help from someone with expertise in the car, and this place was close enough to me that I could get there without losing too much oil.
I was blown away by how thorough and professional Mark and his team were. They took photos of all of the issues they identified with the vehicle and cleaned off all oil residue from the underside of the engine and the plastic panels. After fixing the first oil leak they also used a borescope to confirm my rear main seal was leaking which is a job that requires the transmission to be replaced. I was confident the team at Northeast Motor Works would do a professional job, and have the car back together just how it came off the assembly line.
They got the work done in a timely manner, and did an outstanding job. My car runs like new. Yes, the cost of labor is a bit expensive, but you get what you pay for, and sometimes you need a team that does the best work around.
If you are wondering what kind of guys are at Northeast Motor Works, they are people who take pride in their work. While my vehicle was there, they identified a few smaller issues with the car and repaired them for essentially free. This is the kind of TLC that you can't find most places anymore. Too many companies focus on getting the car out the door as fast a possible. This place gets your car running the way it should run.
If nothing I wrote above convinced you that you will be in good hands, their repairs are covered by a 3 year/36,000 mile warranty!
I am certain the prices are better than a BMW dealership and the care and attention to detail...

Read moreI could have had several thousand dollars of unnecessary work done on my car here. They fixed my issue and I had them do absolute minimum that I thought I needed. They also suggested brakes but second opinion says I have up to 20k left on them. Never a squeal and I’m several thousand miles down the road. A 3 dollar 10 minute cleaning of vanos solenoids cleared a code which they wanted well over 2k to repair. I had them do brake sensors and tidy up a front inner wheel well which I ripped out. They did it without putting the reflector in which required me undoing work to replace. 20 dollar part. No call about a replacement. I’m curious if they even secured the sensors in the wheel well that I duct taped to the wall. Couldn’t spend 1 minute to wipe off duct tape residue on the wheel well trim. Diagnostics was totally worthless. A money bag. They never re-read the codes after replacing the brake sensors. The ‘cheap’ replacements I suggested cleared all lights and codes except for one 3 dollar fix that would have cost me thousands if they had their way. I’m not sure if these guys are real cons or lazy. Either way, they did a half assed job on my car and I got charged 1k for probably an hours work, a hundred in parts, and a useless money...
